By the way, new dictionaries just have nothing on the old ones. No freakin' red and white Collins knock-off is gonna tell you the digestability factor of apples (raw or cooked), what yellow roses stand for, or the meanings of state names. Well, I guess they also wouldn't include such entries as "Canadium", however ("n. a white metal recently discovered in British Columbia, thought to be a new element").

where the motherfucker did you get that?!?!?!
My grandfather left it to me. Some ancient woman in his parish gave it to him. The inside flyleaf bears an amusing stamp reading "Bequest of Rev. Canon Scadding, D. D., Toronto, 1901"

true dat. ok, fine, i'll join the trend.
Today's thing you never knew about me:
When I was little, I wanted to be a "water dancer." No, not a synchronized swimmer, I wanted to splash around elegantly and get paid for it. I also thought I was a re-incarnated rabbit.

I'll join! Going with Yannic's theme...
When I was little, apparently I thought I was pregnant... with one black baby and one white baby. My mom brings this fact up at random times.
Wow... it feels strange being on-topic in here. I feel like I'm doing something wrong.

Today's thing you never knew about me:
I was a teacher's worst nightmare and was constantly battling with them.

I was the complete opposite.

My teachers (well, most of them, save one or two ever) loooooved me. In elementary school, I used to stay after school like every day to help my teachers do whatever they needed help with.

I;ll stick with the trend too:
I am deadly terrified of needles.

Deadly, huh? That's a shame.
Today's thing: I had never seen The Three Amigos before last night. And now I know why, it was extremely overrated.

TTYNKAM: I haven't spoken to, or seen my dad in 2 and a half months.

These unrelated stories strangely combined to remind me that one of my sister's friends declared when she was about 5 that she wanted to be a bunny rabbit when she grew up

I saw of home video of my friend in which she declared she wanted to be a cat when she grew up.
On Water Dancing, my younger cousin once hopped around and shuffled his feet, then exclaimed "Look! I'm doing WaterDance!"
