I've done almost nothing but squares since yesterday afternoon... OMG I can't believe how much I screwed up before I got anything resembling my original visions. :freak:

And a lot of what I wanted to do, I couldn't.... so I kinda had to settle for things that were easier (I realized this after throwing 14 failed squares in the garbage :lol:

).

Here's a pic of the 5 I made:

all the sewing is by hand, so Sarah...please ignore the ugly sewing! :lol:

The Cdn tour square - I'm pretty proud of the X-stitching :lol:

The roadtrips one - the road, car and tree were all individually cut out from other fabric and sewn onto the blue square
The WOAS - it's kinda supposed to be a world on a string / time bomb sorta looking thingy
The next one was done with fabric paint
And the last one is just Sandy's Duncan iron-on with some random fabric paint accents

Perhaps its a little masochistic of me but I sort of wish she would come back. Reading her comments always gave me a good reason to laugh.

I never even thought of that. I want to go on a trip to Newfoundland one day... can I come visit you...? lol.

It was funny cause I'm pretty sure she thought that "New Finland" was how it was actually spelt.

And I suppose you could visit... but it would be all kinds of boring!
There is really not much to see here besides the shitty weather. The place is a giant rock. Really not that interesting.
