I'M NOT EVEN TALKING TO YOU!

Queens Of The Stone Age-Someone's In The Wolf

Once you're lost in twillights's blue
You don't find your way, the way finds you...

Tempt the fates, beware the smile
It hides all the teeth, my dear,
What's behind them...

So glad you could stay
Forever

He steps between the trees, a crooked man
There's blood on the blade
Don't take his hand

You warm by the firelight, in twilight's blue
Shadows creep & dance the walls
He's creeping too..

So glad you could stay
Forever

i have a nosebleed story that so kicks butt! sort of.

ok. so i've never ever had a nosebleed in my life, except for this experience, which technically wasn't a true nosebleed.
a few friends and i were sitting outside on the lawn at school. for some reason, i had some of those super long, super tiny spoons mcdonald's used to use for coffee stir sticks. my friend kelsey got ahold of one of these spoons, and broke it in half.
now, i was happily lying on my back, looking at the pretty sky, when WHAM BAM, out of nowhere, i had the jagged, broken end up this spoon jammed up my nose.

it hurt. it bled.
i'm glad they don't have those skinny little spoons at mcdonald's anymore.

no you won't! just know your ipa and your diacritics and remember those fun little terms like minimal pair and near-minimal pair, epenthesis, free variation, and all that fun stuff and you'll do swell, my dear fellow linguist.
