Well for starters, I don't know anyone at the party.

That's why it's a party, you meet people. It doesn't matter if you aren't good at that, it's a party if it goes well you can get numbers see them again, if it's horrible you'll never see them again so it doesn't matter.

Well, whenever I go to a party I feel weird. Its akward and all shy like.

Then it's a good place to try and break out of your shell. You'll regret it if you don't go.
