I can't decide whether I should go home to see my brother in promenade or not.

I kind of don't want to because I didn't get asked to my prom :( But I sort of do too. Plus, my mom decorated it.

sandsleeper wrote:idk, maybe at your school, but mcgill apparently doesn't have a C-. we go straight from a C (55-59) to a D (50-54).

Then a C would be a 55... at least that's my guess.

Also, holy crap that's confusing grading, Soozy. :wtf:

Holy crap I want to go to Trent! That's a huge A range!

As here are from 93ish to 100. It sort of depends on the teacher.

guelph is smart enough to use percentages. i think western does too.

number systems would work if they were standardized, but until then, they just aren't fair. every school has different interpretations making it impossible to compare grades for transfers and employment and etcetera. blah.

We go by percentages too. Some profs mark with letter grades though so that's just an explanation of what does letter grades might mean.

Class averages tend to be around 66-69% or a C+

our profs aim for a B- average

Queen's has different grading systems for different faculties, I think.

For Arts & Science it is as follows:

A 80-100
B 65-79
C 50-64
F (fail) <50

No D's for whatever reason. Also, some courses only grade as "pass" or "fail". :freak:

The faculty of education just has "A", "B" and "Fail".

Yum..............

I HAD THE BEST DAY EVER!!!!!!!!!!!

COLBY AND I VOLUNTEERED TO CAMPAIGN FOR THE NDP IN THE UPCOMING PROVINCIAL ELECTION!!!!!!!!!!!! We get to go to the openhouses and canvas on foot and go to like different meetings, and we met our Rep for the area [Her office is in Lantzville  ] And she's like "Its great to see youth getting involved in politics!!" and She grinned and Colby and I were both like "We're huge exceptions to the rule" And then on the way to Colby's after all we did was laugh at our extreme dork factor and be SOOOO excited about the fact that we're HELPING!!! Instead of just having our high and mighty beliefs, we get to help!!!!!!!

Next week, at the Port Theatre, all the BC NDP candidates are meeting, and we're going to be helping coordinate the WHOLE EVENT!!!! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

*WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO*

best day ever.
