Duncan really does the highs? I've never noticed. Have any of the other musicians ever done vocals on the recorded tracks? I'm almost 100% sure raine does multiple vocal tracks on everything, except when they are live... but i'm curious.
Its almost strange, when they went to gravity, and they said they wanted to shift their sound on the album closer to their live act. It seems like having the others sing the harmonies and octaves would be an obvious choice on how to do this. I wouldn't want this... but, seems like it would have made sense.
My own abomination:

Was the bickering about the change in the band? Or just people picking fights for the sake of fighting
Well, pretty much both i believe.
And didn't Duncan sing Made Of Steel back at a show in 2002 but no one has a recording of it? I've heard of this a couple of times..

lol
yeah i heard that guy in st louis who did AF crushed peoples hopes and dream in a matter of 3.5 minutes.
he got some great press though!
Another somewhat inexplicable occurrence took place during the band's four-song encore, when Maida invited band crew member Richard Bosner onstage to sing the lead vocal on "Automatic Flowers." Not singing along with Maida, but full-on, by himself while Maida filmed the affair from the side of the stage. Bosner actually sounded great and turned in a spirited performance but the crowd (DG) seemed somewhat perplexed (although courteous with its applause).

I've got a soundcheck video of Steve singing part of Dreamland.
“Music doesn’t have the power to change the world. What music does is it changes people, & that changes the world, so to say that music doesn’t change people anymore is just ridiculous. It does everyday. It doesn’t have to be on a political or social level. You could be feeling shitty & it makes you happy & if that’s all it does, it’s changing the world. It’s making it a better place.” ~ Raine Maida
