Does anyone know anything about those songs Jer mentions in his post or where I can get them? I have Tonight's The Night and a whole load of other great Neil Young stuff, but I've not heard of some of the other people.

Joe Tex is a famous soul singer from the 60s-70s, The Band were a pretty famous Canadian band, I believe he mentioned there third album. John Coltrane is.... amazing. Listen to A Love Supreme if you can. And we all know about Abbey Road. I have no idea who the Staples singers are though.

Soozy I did post back to you on this. DOn't know why it never showed up..

You can do a google search for Joe tex.. Th esong was on a special cd and I don't have time to redo the search.. The Dylan thingwas an old BD cd from the 60's. Big pink was also from the 60's.

NIna smione, coltrance can be bought in any store

abbey road-beatles
sticky fingers-rolling stones..

most of the artist are jazz or early rock pioneers from the 60's. MOst of the songs here are from 66-68 era..
