F...f.....friends? Yeah I don't see mine that much. Sometimes I just want to to be alone as well, my friends are great and all, but I sometimes find myself being jealous of them. They sit there with their signifigant others and include me in what they do so I don't feel left out, but at the end of the day, I'm always the one that leaves by myself.

Fortunately, none of my friends have significant others. ^_^ Well one does, but we're not that close anyway.

A lot of my friend's do, but I guess my incredible lack of love-life just doesn't effect me like it would a lot of people.

I don't particularly care when I'm not in the process of liking someone. If I am, then it's somewhat annoying.

I find that I'd rather be alone most of the time. Of course I no longer enjoy the company of my friends.

I stay at home too much. It makes me feel really bad after awhile.

i hate going out just for the sake of being with my friends because we'll usually do something that everybody (like 6-8 people) can do, like go shoe shopping for the billionth time or go have sushi, etc etc etc until it drives me insane. its like the same thing over and over and over. when i go to virgin megastore to get cds or if i want to go to a concert, no one will come with me or i'll have to drag a couple along. ugh.

I find loneliness when it comes to friends a cycle. The more you want to be alone, the fewer friends you have, the more you want to be alone...etc. Last year I never called my friends or did anything with them. Rarely. Now, I swear I spend every second with one of three close friends, or my mother, if I'm not working. And I work with my best friend. I just don't like to go that long without being with friends. It's all part of the cycle though, tomorrow I'll hate them and not want to see them  I really do like my alone time, but too much alone time makes me depressed. And NONE of my friends have significant others. Oh wait, one does. WTF is wrong with us?

I saw WTF and thought she was talking about me :(

Anyway, um... yay friends! Or not! Depending on what mood you're in!

i agree with that statement

friends can be so stupid. but that's people in general. so... and they can make/destroy your day. eh.

We need to have a meetup of all those that belong in this thread...except of course all of us will probably not want to see anyone so nobody will show up anyway.

Friends sometimes just want to put the whole weight of their troubles on our shoulder, I said sometimes but in my case it's way too often. I've been helping so much that sometimes I wonder what kind of friendship it is. So friend or not, I am debating , but still, like most of you, sometimes maybe yeah, sometimes no. It all depends.

Me too.
But it's by choice - I've isolated myself this week because I've been so miserable.

*hugs all the lonely CMers*
