Cephas & Wiggins - Somebody Told the Truth

:::troy:::
:::troy:::

Brutus is an honorable man
It's just coincidence that oil men will wage war in an oil rich land
And this one goes out to my man taking cover in the trenches with a gun in his hand
Then gets home and no one flinches when he can't feed his fam...

But Brutus is an honorable man...

Jason Mraz - Waiting For My Rocket To Come
The Wallflowers - Red Letter Days

Got each of them for $0.79
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

we are the brand new beatniks. we are the down and outers.
we are the bleeding hearts, beating syncopated, broken rhythm.
our speed is often break neck. we need to slow it down.
tired of being sleepless. tired of being broken.

No Longer Running Smooth wrote:Oh yes, I've heard the new All American Rejects cd, and wow, does it ever drag. I couldn't get into it, especially after knowing they ripped off the bassline to Better Than Ezra's "Good" in their single "Swing, Swing."

swing swing doesn't even have a bassline. all it is the root note of the chords. and a lot of songs have the same or similar chord progressions.

$26.99 at Borders, i've heard it go for a lot less though, depends on where you get it. I had to get mine there because it was the only place with one. (and they only got in 1)

dvd = weird, but awesome. you just want to watch it over and over again to try and figure it out.

book = cool looking, but it's just a lyric book that looks neat with weird writing and things all over it.

oh, and there are songs on the dvd that sound a lot cooler if you put it in your stereo if you have surround sound.

because he covered "Kathy with a K's song" by bright eyes and it got leaked as love is real by mraz fans... so bright eyes fans hate him for it... it probably not a good idea to cover that song, but i don't think he has done it more than once... i still like him though

the special edition spiritual machines
you have to, you just have to trust me
whoever i was then i can't ever be again
the faith you've found i've never felt
the terror held in wedding bells
the comfort in "there's no one else"
the truth be told, i'm never going to know
