that's almost exactly what happened to us. we screamed like small gitty children when we finally found the place and saw the tour bus. then we got out and realized that we didn't really have tickets and weren't supposed to be there...so then we felt inferior..but it all worked out for the best!

Actually one of the CAT people at the Villanova show was saying that only 700 people with tickets got in. Some bout 200 didn't even get it which sucks but she did say they oversold tickets.

Hey guys! I'm home for Thanksgiving so I can scan up my 'Nova pictures! The bad news...super slow computer. It's going to take me a while to get them all up. Once they're done I'll put them on the site with my other pictures. But here's a couple from before and after. The first is Jer sitting and chilling out with us, and the second is me and Jer after the show. What fool. His face is classic. I'll let you know when the rest are up on my site. There's a super close one of Raine when he jumped in the crowd next to me. It's like creepy close, and I feel like i violated him because I must have actually been closer than the picture shows, cause my camera always makes things look farther away than they really are...hehe. It's funny. Okay, I'll be online later to work on the rest. This is basically just for the people who were there and wanted a pic of us all sitting around..and I had to show Jer's goofy face in the pic with me.

P.S. don't make fun of what i look like..

Jeremy looks priceless....
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

Nikki!!!! once again thanks so much for telling the guys we were coming!!

No problem! :) I would've felt so bad if you guys had come all that way and not gotten in. Would've felt bad if Jacqui didn't get in, too, even though she didn't come far. ;) It was great meeting the three of you and hanging out with you. Everyone was so nice at that show, it was an amazing experience. :D

That is funny that Steve asked what exit; did you ask "NJP or Garden State?". Evil Turnpike rest stops were all being renovated on the way home. It took 3 1/2 hours to get home!!!

Haha, yeah, I couldn't believe Steve made a NJ joke. That was great. I just wish I had actually known the exit, so I could've been funny. Instead I looked like an idiot, cos I was like, "uhh... actually, I dunno...", I think he thought that I thought he was serious... even though I knew it was a joke. I just wanted to have a quick comeback. Haha. Oh well. I know it's 4 now, though. And, wow, that's a long ride home to NY! That sucks so bad. They've always gotta be working on something on this state's highways.

15)In Repair!!! (They added a new AMAZING part..mid-song when the pope is supposed to talk Raine softly goes "You take, You take" at least 15 times then he just screamed "the wheels the air the metal the mind" it was grat

Dude that part in In Repair was frigging AMAZING. God, I really hope someone recorded that concert, cos I would give anything to hear it again. Such an amazing show. God I wanna go follow OLP on the road so bad. Grateful Dead style. Haha. That just reminded me of the fact that Jeremy hates the Grateful Dead. A lot. I don't think you guys were there yet when he was complaining about the Dead being on the radio station. Haha. It was funny. He definitely yelled the phrase, "He's dead! Get over it!"

nikki! that's a great pic of you and jer! thanks so much again, if it weren't for you we wouldn't have gotten in you so made our month, probably our next few months!

I know, right? That picture turned out AMAZING. That's like one of the best pictures of me EVER, let alone the fact that I'm standing next to Jeremy. I like how tight he was holding me. Made me feel better, cos I felt like I was stalking him (and thought he probably thought the same thing) with how many times I ran into him that night. But, since he was really nice about it and held me tight, it made me feel better and stopped my thoughts of, "he's probably afraid of me"... haha. And, once again, it's no problem about talking to the guys about getting you three in. :) Steve's the one we all need to thank. He was such a sweetheart about the whole thing. I think he's the sweetest guy, like, ever.

This is a completely unrelated, but what kind of camera do you have again?

It's a Canon PowerShot S200 (Digital Elph). I looooooove it. :D Here's Canon's page about it: http://www.powershot.com/powershot2/s200/index.html. It's about a $300 camera from what I've seen online.

Wow, how many times am I going to post about how great that concert was? This thread will never die as long as I'm on the CM

Hahah, yeah, I don't think I'll let it die, either. ;)

it is so cool to read the progression of this thread and see how good the results were!!!

I was thinking the same exact thing. It's like panicked people needing tickets... then hanging out with the band and getting on the guestlist. Hahah.

Nikki, I totally know what you are feeling. So many things happen to me while in Europe, so I have so many memeories from there. Yeah I just thanked him for responding to you and told him it was great and alot of fans were supporting you. How is your dad BTW.

God, I love England. Never been any other European countries, but London is the coolest city in the world. I love New York City (oh yeah, New York City... haha, any other people on here like Andrew W.K.???), but London's got it beat. Not by much, but it does. ;) I'm so glad to hear what a great time you had on your OLP trip to Europe. :) Sounds like an amazing experience. :) And, my dad's doing a lot better now. He's still got cancer (obviously), but he's at home now and just going into the center for radiation treatments. We've just gotta hope the radiation does really well this time, cos after this he can't have any more (he'll hit his max). Thanks for asking. :)

It is cool you got to hang with Jeremy and Steve. They pretty much hang together, While Duncan and Raine seem to go off and who knows where Mike disappears to.

Actually, Duncan and Mike were hanging together at Villanova. They took a trip for "food", and ended up getting "sidetracked" at a music store. Mike bought a guitar. It's funny, they had a ride out there, and just walked back. Could you imagine seeing that? Duncan and Mike walking down the road, Mike with a guitar. Hahha. There were actually two people we were talking to in line who saw them. That must've been so weird to see. Raine was the mysterious one... he showed up JUST before the concert (wasn't even there for the soundcheck from what we could hear), and went to the bus the second they were done. According to Jer, he was sick, though, so it's understandable.

Besides TWF, how was the rest of the show. Did they do the new improved BIRDMAN with STEVE's SOLO in there now before they all join in to finish the song. That version kicks ass. it is so amzing, especially to see live. Check out this photo. I call it extreme Birdman

The entire show was beyond amazing. It was even better than any of the other three OLP shows I've been to since August. Raine sounded amazing. And, they did that version of Birdman... my god that version rocks. Aaaaaah! I wanna see it again! And again! And again!!! That photo's great, by the way. ;)

i just realized we got to see OLP for free when 900 other people paid.

Hehehehe.

We didnt see you guys after the show i think you went to find stacey and we went to the bus to find drunk jeremy.

Dude, Jer was drunk?! That explains why he was acting different! He definitely wasn't as bad as the Greenwheel guys, though. Hah, man were they drunk. Especially the lead singer... that was just... WOW drunk. Haha.

Hey guys! I'm home for Thanksgiving so I can scan up my 'Nova pictures!

PICTURES!!! PICTURES!!! PICTURES!!!! :D :D :D Hahah, OK, I'm really too excited about this. But, yay! Anyway, I can't wait to see the extreme closeup of Raine. :D

Image

Oh man, that's great. Heheh. Melissa, you didn't make it into the picture. :( I definitely did, though. :D Hah, we just look like a group of college students hanging out. *looks down at her desk and sees the copy of the "Villanovan" that Jer's reading in the pic* Hah. That's weird. ;)

Image

Hahaha, that's a GREAT picture! Oh man. *cracks up*

OK, this is REALLY long... but mostly cos I quoted you guys so much. ;) I'll work on my pictures tonight... hopefully I can get rid of some of that smoke I was talking about.

I'm still trying to get all the pics up on my site. Here's the one of Raine..super close. I feel for that guy. The flash must've really hurt his eyes on this one.

Mine are done and up on my site, although they've been greatly downsized from the original version, just cause I hate people stealing my pictures without asking. If you want to see any full size, just let me know. They're not all that great...but there are a couple here and there that I really like.
