I think I caught a sore throat from the CM!

I hope it's one of those false starts. You know when you think you're getting a sore throat but it just goes away? I don't think it is though...it feels like one of those sorts that you get pits on your tonsils and you want to die.

You should get a cup of tea and go to bed.

I've lots of suggestions for sore throats, but I think I've already posted them on here three or four times, so unless you want them I'll keep it to myself.

ugh that's terrible...
just try to nail it down before it sets in. sleep and have cough drops and such. otherwise, it might become something chronic, and i for one can say that it's not a good feeling.

i have pits on my right tonsil that never leave. they also refuse to rip the damn things out.
when my throat is feeling sore, i make hot ice tea. (no, not tea!!!) ice tea mix (4 spoonfuls) in a mug, with boiling water.

the trick is to coat your tonsils with aluminum foil....

works every time

Oh man...you really should have those taken out. I had the same thing happen to me. When I was 10-15 I got strep like five times a year and more sore throats. My insurance wouldn't take them out though. My tonsils are always inflamed and almost touching. But they don't get infected as often and I'm too old to go through with it just go get them out....

i'm in the same situation as you but i'm too lazy to drink tea. i really hope it just dissapears but it probably won't. i've had it for two days. i'll just go to bed and hope that it goes away.

i spent the whole day at my friends home, and my mum's pissed because i didn't tell her and i haven't done so all week. i just called to tell her i'm home and she's like "i'm on my way home, im going to have a talk with you." i'm thinking about which stratergy i should use...shut up and listen or talk back.

It could just mean that you're developing a cold. A lot of the time for me, I get a sore throat before any other symptoms.

I'm gonna be painting my bedroom tomorrow! :OOO
