we would have gotten a drumstick too..but some stupid boy cut into us during starseed, when raine climbed up, and got between rob and kimmy. he ended up catching the stick. if he wouldn't have been there surely one of us would have gotten it.

I love that pass. I got one in the summer. I think it was the Electric factory show so i could stay in the place for the meet and greet.(like I need to meet and greet the band. I usually wait till they finish before I approach them) I have it in my photo album I was glad to get one, cause I too thought they were pretty..

P.S. do you want the STEVE pick or not?

I have offered you a few times to give you a Steve Pick. I have a few, but you didin't want it..

If you read my previous post, you would've realized that I don't want a pick from anybody else. If I get one, it will be because I received one from Steve or I caught one. I told you that the last time you asked me if I wanted a pick.

Squeeee!!!!! I'm still overly excited over that day. My god. I can't believe none of you are talking about our hang out with Jeremy! That was such a great way to pass the time before the show. :D He's such a cool guy. *realizes that most of the people here have no idea what I'm talking about* Before the show, Jer was just hanging out in the lounge area of the student center thingee where the venue was... I had the pleasure of hanging out with him for about 2 and a half hours. :D

Steve was the one who put me and my friend on the guestlist (and talked to Jeremy about putting Jacqui, Rob, and Kim on, too... there were too many of them to put on next to my name, and I didn't know any of their full names so they could go on by themselves, so he talked to Jer and they decided when the three got there that they'd add them). Steve's such a sweetheart. Best part of my conversation with him was definitely when he cracked a New Jersey joke! I told him I was from Jersey and he asked me "which exit?"... a joke most of you probably don't get, but maybe you do. That was just really funny to me.

My god, I'll give anything for a bootleg of this show. Nobody happens to know what the band does with the videos they tape of all the shows, do you? I'm really curious about that. I'd LOVE to get a copy of this one from that camera... Raine pointed it directly at me a few times... I've even got a picture of him when it was aimed STRAIGHT at me. I'm sure those are only for the band's use (and occasionally for the Satellite ;)), though. Bah. They should sell copies.

HAHA, Jacqui, I completely forgot about that goat comment from Jeremy. *cracks up*

Ugh, I was SO close to getting one of Jeremy's sticks at the Atlantic City show, it's not even funny. He was walking to the front of the stage, and I put my hands out, he saw me and could tell I wanted one, he smiled at me, and tossed it directly to me... then the crowd went nuts and the girl next to me got it... I had been talking to her and her friend the entire night. They were really nice, so I'm glad that they got it out of everyone near me, but still. I wanted that stick. :(

Anyway, back to Villanova. I got some amazing pictures... but they ALL have so much smoke in them it's depressing. They needed to back off with that smoke machine... I mean, you'd think when it was filling the entire building before the show, they'd have realized it was too much. Hahah, oh well. I'm gonna try and fix the pictures up as much as I can to eliminate some smoke. Everyone wish me luck. ;) When Raine was in the security pit area thing, I took a bunch of pictures, but got mostly hands. Oh well. Anyway, when I get my pics done (hah, I've still got my Atlantic City pics to finish fixing up, too), I'll post the link. :) For now, though, here's the one I got with Jeremy:

Image

And, you guys are talking about me! *feels special* :D Anyway, I looooooooove my Gravity Girl pass. It's so pretty, plus it's signed by Jeremy! Haha, he signed, like, everything possible that I had (including a piece of paper for my boyfriend... which he also "doodled" on... heehee). I figured out that I ran into him a total of 7 times that day. Hah! Seven! Jeremy! Weird. Hehe. I'm a dork. ;) ANYway, yeah, I think he probably thought I was stalking him or something. And, Gail, you and Jer were talking about me in England?!?! Wow. I feel REALLY special now. Haha, I love England, so at least I was there in conversation. Anyway, yeah, I did meet him in NYC, but I don't think he remembered me from there. But, I got to thank him for his post on the CC at Villanova. I was explaining to someone else who I was on there, and he heard my description ("I'm the one with a Silverchair picture in her sig.") and said, "Oh, you're the one I replied to?" and I thanked him. :)

WOW, this post is long considering I'm new here (I do these long posts all the time on boards that I've been on for a while ). Sorry bout that, guys. ;)[/img]

Nikki!!!! once again thanks so much for telling the guys we were coming!! The conversation with Jer was definatley interesting. That is funny that Steve asked what exit; did you ask "NJP or Garden State?". Evil Turnpike rest stops were all being renovated on the way home. It took 3 1/2 hours to get home!!! I am in the process of writing the review but for now heres the setlist:

1)All For You
2)Do You Like It?
3)Superman's Dead
4)Naveed
5)Not Enough
6)Bring Back the Sun
7)OMA
8)Whatever
9)IAH?
10)Birdman
11)Innocent
12)The Wonderful Future
13)Clumsy
14)Starseed (Raine climbed on the barrier right in front of us)
---Encore---
15)In Repair!!! (They added a new AMAZING part..mid-song when the pope is supposed to talk Raine softly goes "You take, You take" at least 15 times then he just screamed "the wheels the air the metal the mind" it was grat
16)Somewhere Out There
17)A Story About A Girl

***The written set had WF first and Mafia where it was played but oh well. The original encore was supposed to be; In Repair, SOT, Neon, 4AM. Story about a girl wasnt on the set at all. Before the show I asked Jer if they were playing it and he said definatley!!! the man knows how to keep a promise!!!***

Nikki, I totally know what you are feeling. So many things happen to me while in Europe, so I have so many memeories from there. Yeah I just thanked him for responding to you and told him it was great and alot of fans were supporting you. How is your dad BTW. I also told him and Steve abunch of you were showing up at Villanova. I remember Steve asking where it was at and i said I no freaking clue, but I think it is outside philly.

As for feeling special, you guys might not believe this coming from me, but I never knew how the band felt. I always think the worse. they really made me feel loved and welcomed in Europe. I got my setlist signed in Paris since it was a special show for me. Duncan wrote the sweetest thing that i was moved by it. They also played 2 songs for I requested in Manchester. that was cool. Raine gave us a wink and smile before going into one of the songs. After the show I thanked them. Duncan told me, see we do request. I laughed.

It is cool you got to hang with Jeremy and Steve. They pretty much hang together, While Duncan and Raine seem to go off and who knows where Mike disappears to.

Susie and I got to hang with Jeremy and Steve with some French kids after the Paris show. It was a blast. I know how you feel.

Enjoy the memories.
Besides TWF, how was the rest of the show. Did they do the new improved BIRDMAN with STEVE's SOLO in there now before they all join in to finish the song. That version kicks ass. it is so amzing, especially to see live. Check out this photo. I call it extreme Birdman

Image
Who opened for them?. Was it Greenwheel. I like those guys. Actually the band that opened in England was cool. WILT> They werrevery catchy.

anywya welcome to the CM

P>S. ROB, when they did In Repair on Europe he would sing We're always in repair over and over in the pope part, then belted out the Wheel, the metla, the mouth part with such agreesion. It was so cool. Probably the way you guys got it. I have to say that In repair is defintiely better now then when they first started doing it.

I like that EXTREME Birdman  yes i was like whats going on. everything just stops and steve plays like a 30 second solo then the rest of the band join back in and it sounds nothing like birdman then goes back to birdman. raine didnt do the dance but just flipped out banging the floor and stuff. this show was definatley top notch for such a bad crowd!!! i just thought it was cool that Jer kept him promise he made to us that they would play Wonderful Future and Story About A Girl.

it's cool. it was awesome meeting you and your friend. I can't believe you guys came so far for the concert and found the place. I'm from around there and I couldn't find the damn place...hehe...Rob, Kimmy, and I started out by driving back towards Long Island before we realized that we were reading the wrong directions. Anyways. It was great meeting you. Hopefully we'll meet up again in the future!
