How can I not want that pass? I just love the Sol thing. I don't care about the autographs. I am into collecting as much Sol related material as possible, and so far, I have nothing, except CD covers....

OLP fans in Detroit are assholes. They push, punch, elbow, kick, and crowdsurf like crazy. And if you were up front, you either had to have a good grip on the railing and had some one trying to protect you, or you'd have been crushed. Hell, I was getting beaten up in there, and I am not a small guy.

AMEN. I was holding on to the railing for dear life. The crowd was SO bad that 3/4ths into the show, I just wanted it to be over so that I could breathe. Now, that's gotta show you something. The next day, I had bruises on my arm where I was holding onto the railing.

They are assholes. I wanted to scream, "YOU'RE NOT GOING TO GET ANY CLOSER!!!!!!" The crowd was unbearable.

Yeah, thankfully I have tanks for legs. I was able to grab the railing, get my feet on there, and push back, moving the entire group of people behind me back. I kept doing it until they finally just stopped.

Okay, I have been serioulsy hurt at 5 OLP shows, 3 to the point of seeking medical attention. I have been in the front, have had surfers fall on me, been kicked in the face, pushed up against the barricades, came out bruised and battered. SO don't talk to me about being up front. The Pittsburgh and Toledo shows were very rough crowds.
I have gone to shows without transporation also. I had to relie on buses, trains. etc. Spending hours in bus stations, train staions etc.
When I said I paid my dues, I meant it took me years to get where I am now. It wasn't just handed to me on a platter. OLP things didn't come easy to me. I had to work hard to get where I am now.

Hey, you're not the only one who can't breathe and get bruised by the guard railing. And I got kicked hard in the face 4 times by crowdsurfers at the Detroit show. And I don't have a car. I had a car for a whopping 3 days this year, and I still made it to 5 shows. You're not the only one who feels pain and has problems ya know.

that is what I was saying to you. You act as if you should get special treatment because you went without transportaion to shows, you survive shows. SO I said I have been seriously hurt at 5 shows. ALot of us have. We have battle scars. I just feel youel you should get stuff. It isn't that easy. We all had to work hard to get where we are.

*I got kicked hard in the face 4 times by crowdsurfers at the Detroit *

I had 4 suirfers fall on my neck and back in Pittsburgh within a 5 minute span then had a glass bottle hit me in the side of my face before crashing to the floor. So don't whine to me about what you been through. A bunch of us have been through this. You aren't the only one That is what I was saying in my previous post.
But you know I don't want to argue with you. It is pointless.
We are all fans, nobody is better then the other, just that you want stuff that a bunch of us had to search hard for to get or buy off ebay. Nothing in life comes easy if you really want it.

I don't act like I deserve special treatment at all. Get off your high horse here Gail. You brag about knowing the band, and having so many things from the band, and seeing them dozens of times live. That's great Gail. Whatever, go ahead and brag about everything related to OLP. All I was trying to say is that Detroit fans are violent. But no, you had to go ahead and give your history about how people in one place were bad. Yeah you'll run into a bad crowd once in a while when you travel across the country to see OLP. But in 4 Detroit shows, I've gotten knocked around 3 times. I didn't get knocked around the 4th time because it was an acoustic set. But whatever, you're always right because you know OLP.

Dude! Gail's not on a high horse. She doesn't brag. A lot of people (including me) really appreciate what she does around here.

And when Gail mentioned something, you gave your little history of getting kicked 4 times, so why can't she say what happened to her?
