Casa Loma is a great place. Sir Henry Pellet owned it..
The Rooms are beautiful. I went there when I went to Toronto for first time.
I disagree with that article. I think Chantal would of made it without Raine, Raine didn't produce her first CD or wirte anything on it.. The only problem I have with this cd is the fact that Raine co-wrote alot of songs with her. I know they have become a songwriting team as of late, but I would of liked to have more of her own stuff.. That is why that lilttle bit up there says that. I think it is great he produced it, but that had to be hard. I am not married, but I tell you I do not think I would wan tto be with my husbanc 24/7.. I really got to hand it to these couples who work together.. I personaly need my own space at times. tha tis me though. It works for Pat Benatar and Neil Geraldo. I just hope that the strain of work doesn'r effect their relationship as a couple..

I feel love, I feel a power. It comes to me in the darkest hour. And I want to feel it again

Could she have whored out her Husbands name a little more as producer?
Has anyone seen the back of the CD?

yes. She said that he was such a big part of the album that she wanted him on the front of the CD somehow, but was told that she couldn't do that. Instead, she made his name in bigger print on the back so that it would stand out. Later, when Raine saw it, he was apparently upset by it.
She said when the CD covers go into the next printing it will be smaller

I like it. The album is really interesting... a mix of a couple of upbeat tracks that most people would recognize as hers, one song I've heard live in the past but has been changed and recorded, and a few others that most people consider more artsy/original/experimental.
It debuted at #2 on the CD sales Soundscan chart this week which is amazing! It's the #1 downloaded album on Puretracks Canada and #2 or #3 on iTunes Canada.
Try previewing the tracks on her website chantalonline.com or on iTunes. If you'd like a couple of full tracks I'll share.

Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire
Take apart your head
(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.

There i changed it for you.
LOL.
Ya i kinda slowed down listening to them because wel i had their record before it came out and then they started getting popular and overplayed and i just got sick of it... i can really only listen to their live stuff, covers or songs that aren't singles... for the time being.
But I have a panic site as well, so it's kind of hard.
I wish they weren't so over played.

YARRRRR!!!
*ahem*
Panic was much better when it was just the album and the live songs without the hype and the overplaying and the talking and stuff. Lame, eh?
Besides, I hear they have really annoying fans. Like their messageboard is like the internets version of Jr. High and I hear super bad things about their fans at concerts.
But whatever. Could be worse.
(Do you like the fact that I dont consider myself to be part of 'their fans'? lol, I'm such a hypocrite)

by the way, i absolutely adore that second photograph of chantal.

Ah i totally know what you're talking about.
They have a lot of younger fans, which is werid, because half of them probably dont even know what their songs mean, or words they use in their song.
They have a lot of those crazy teenie fans where they are like "OMG OMG OMG OMG ZOMG!" its so annoying.
But then they have those normal fans. who are just fans for the music not for what they wear on stage or their makeup or anything.
Then you have some older fans... my dad being one of them.
i hope they put out a new record soon... apparently Ryan and brendon will be sharing vocals, and I don't think ryan has the greatest voice, maybe in the studio but def not live. that's just my opinion.
hehehe I like the second pic of chantal ltoo. The only thing i dont like about the photo is how its slightly blurred near the bottom.. but i get why the photographer did that, so it's understandable,
