God, all of you are acting like hockey is NEVER coming back. Well, even if the NHL never does come back, I dont even think i care, i mean, why should I? They've alienated all of their viewers because they're greedy, why the hell should I pay lots of money when I could watch at a junior level! Junior hockey is more more fun, cheaper and just as good, if not better than NHL. Once you hit the top as a star in the NHL, it basically means, you don't need to try as hard as everyone else. Atleast at the junior level, they are.

Most of the people who've come in here to cry about hockey are Canadian, and I would be VERY surprised if any of the cities you all are from DONT have a local junior team. Go watch them instead! The hockey is just as good, just as entertaining, the only difference is the players arent getting played extroadinary amounts of money, and they dont have "Linden" and "Yzerman" stamped on the back of their jerseys.

the skill level is not the same. you cannot compare an NHL player to an OHL player.

You're right, you can't compare them, I can never see an OHL player refusing to play for a whole season because he isnt making the 30 mil he clearly needs for playing a goddamn sport. Its sickening really. People who save peoples lives, and actually make a difference in our world, are less celebrated, and certainly paid less than those who play a sport people like.

You obviously have never seen a junior game. More specifically, an Oshawa Generals (my local team) game. It's terrible terrible hockey.

We're not even arguing money. We're just saying that you can't compare the two games.

Then maybe i'm just lucky that the Clippers is good hockey.
