Now I says it was a dead man's corpse because the man who died during the fight keeped himself a body in the trunk of his car. He drove himself a beast of a vehicle and I needed a place to sleep, so now that the owner's eatin' worms, I moved meself right on in!

i haven't read the books but i have a feeling it doesn't follow them really well. everything just kind of seems crammed together and doesn't really add up to much at the end.

i only read the first book, but from what i remember jim carrey doesn't fit at all because i didn't really think of count olaf as goofy.

It doesn't really follow the plot line of the books, just the idea's. But as a movie its fairly well put together.

I saw it with my sister this afternoon and rather enjoyed it. I thought it was very cool visually and funny too. Definitely could've ended better, though.
