Then your most favorite song gets played over and over and over and then it's no longer your favorite song because you hear it so damn often on the radio it just gets annoying

Well that's why it bugs me anyway

it'll get overplayed and lose what makes it special. i don't know. it's just the way it always goes with bands releasing songs i like.

examples:
green day- boulevard of broken dreams (i actually SKIP it on the cd :O:O)
our lady peace- innocent (i loved it.. then it became so .. i dunno)
avril lavigne- nobody's home (the video absolutely RUINED this song for me... and the fact i hear it alllll the time)

it just loses something when i hear it all the time. or see a video for it that completely contradicts how i view the song. or something.
you have to, you just have to trust me
whoever i was then i can't ever be again
the faith you've found i've never felt
the terror held in wedding bells
the comfort in "there's no one else"
the truth be told, i'm never going to know

Over and over - Nelly f/ Tim McGraw
My Band - D12
The Reason - Hoobastank

There was certainly a lot of crap this year.

Heh. I've probably only liked about 15-20 songs that were released to radio this year... if that. Best for me were Green Day singles and Maroon 5 singles (though, they certainly got overplayed to DEATH ), and a few other songs thrown in. Other than that, this year was a horrible year for music.

I can't believe you guys think it has been a horrible year for music!

This is by far one of the best years in quite a while. I've been quite pleased with a lot of stuff I have heard.

Coheed and Cambria :P
Damn they don't even get radio play here .. but the song you're referring to is probably Blood Red Summer .. the poppiest song they've ever recorded but it's just a fun song. I agree about the White Stripes though. Worst. Band. Ever.

I don't know? I kept seeing the video.. it is the one where they are in some kind of bar or club..

I also just remembered two more songs I loved this year..

Jet-Are You Going To Be My Girl

Snow Patrol-- I think it is called Run. the song that goes "light up, light up as if you have achoice, even if you can't hear my voice, I'll be right besides you dear"..

that is the only lines I remember

I feel love, I feel a power. It comes to me in the darkest hour. And I want to feel it again

thanks. i just keep seeing that video. Sorry but his voice annoys me. then again people say that about raine.. LOL..

I also didn'tknow they were a local band. The Station here(KROCK) had a survey on best local band and they were there along with My Chemical Romace, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Killers, and Interpol...
