I used to want to work in a zoo when I was little.
I thought my job would be to play with all the animals all day and that would be it .. now that would have been a sweet job

If you're ever in Ontario don't go to Marineland, horrble horrible amusement park and they keep whales, dolphins, bears and deer there. The bears are all very sickly looking and people just stand over them (they're sort of down lower in the hills and water) and throw food at them .. it's so mean and they shouldn't be eating that kind of food. Then the deer are in this little park and they all come running up to you half starved when you go in. Gah, it's so sad :(

That place was pretty cool... especially when the monkey's would rip off people's antennas as they drove through.
I used to call it A Freakin Lion safari.

 Sounds like the Six Flags safari thing... too bad the monkeys are all behind fences now, though.

I'd post pictures of the hubbers driving through, but... I'm lazy.

I remember drivin' through the safari and the monkeys climbed on our car

And i seem to recall an ostrich trying to stick its head through the window... but I think I maybe just had an overactive imagination as a child

The Kamloops Zoo is like that, I mean, just chain link fences, and its all outdoors, with realistic habitats.

The one in Kamloops isn't a zoo, it's a wildlife habitat for endangered or injured animals, which is why it's so cool like that. The point of it isn't entertainment, it's animal well-being

Oh. Well i was small. i thought it was a zoo

I was misled!
Anyways, they market it like its entertainment

I went to a zoo in england but I really don't remember if it was the london zoo. All the kids were yelling at the tigers (who were trying to sleep) and it made me sad :(
