You're opinion isn't valued because you have never given us any reason to respect it. Someone else said that they don't like Three Doors Down, and so to show what a good band they are you call them a dick. Yup, that just commands respect. And using internet slang like "ur" and "coz" is not going to get you any respect here either. People just ignore your comments because they don't want to have to figure out what you said. Thats why you don't get any respect.

No one is saying that your opinion is wrong because you can like whatever you want to. The thing is, you cannot 'win' an arguement based on whether someone likes a band or not. Thats not even logical. I don't like Three Doors Down and I could argue it the same way you could argue how you think they are amazing. No one can win an arguement like that because you are arguing an opinion not a fact. To say that someone else doesn't have a clue is a little hypocritical when you say things like that.

i LOVE 3 Doors Down, they are one of the best live acts ive ever seen. they're awesome musicians and keep the style they fit into alive from way back when. i appreciate them immensly for what they do.

personally, i think 3 doors down are awesome. and Our Lady Peace love to tour and be around them. they make good tour buddies. they're fantastic...
and the soul of this thread was to show everyone their obscure CD cover. which their new album will have. and apparently the new stuff is alot dfrnt and edgier

As for 3DD, I don't like em. To me, all of their music sounds the same to me. And when music sounds the same to me, i find it boring. I happened to see them live, and yes, they put on a good live show, well as I said before, their music is all the same.

And speaking as a musician myself, I can say that 3DD's music is uninspired and repatative, as I have stated above. Calling them musicians is insulting to the good musicians of our world.

That's one of the stupidest things I've ever read on here. Seriously. The frog was quoting an interview. You can think whatever you want about Brad, but that doesn't mean he didn't say it, and it's no reason to call Reza names.

I saw this interview that he's talking about. The lead singer did in fact say he would have nuked the people who attacked the US.

I worked with his mom this past summer. A very nice lady and she told me some amazing stories about Daniel and his brother David, who were basically child prodigies in art and music.

And, on that "nuke them all" thing, or whatever he said... that's absolutely horrible. Like. Offensively horrible. Ugh. The ounce of near-respect I had for 3DD is now gone.

and yeah i also lost a lot of respect for them (although more so for the individuals involved and not the band as a whole)

I was thinking, "I must be good if I can piss off Matt in a thread I've never posted in." Didn't we already make a declaration that we can't have two people of the same name at the CM? That's how Rob became Robbo and why the Jo(h)n's had to change the spelling of their names. I could have swore this was part of the contract we all signed when we signed up here.
