Not only the secretary, but a way more important romance was with Gwen Stacy. Also, I personally don't think Dunst has the proper look, but most of all she doesn't act at all like the Mary Jane Character, she just doesn't pull it off accurately like the other actors. They portray the characters very well. She's okay and I'm not complaining because I really like the movies, I just think there could have been better casting. She's just not one of the most talented actresses. If you compare her acting in all of her roles, she's not very diverse. Another actress similar to her is Gwyneth Paltrow. A lot of critics and just movie fanatics in general are noticing that she was extremely over-rated when she had her oscar nomination. Almost every one of her characters are the exact same. Even when they do have differences, they aren't something spectacular that many other actresses couldn't pull off with ease. That's why they say she's not as castable anymore and isn't getting as many great movie opportunities. (and no it doesn't have anything to do with her child.)

But hey, if she would have never broken up with Brad Pitt, her kid's name would have been APPLE PITT!!

these super heroes films are always hard to make, I wonder when people find it accurate, My favorite super hero flick has always been the crow, I think it was quite respectfull to the comic book....still though some details aren't in (like the whole scarecrow story) but at least it was filmed and included in the deleted scenes. the more it goes with this superman flick, the worst it gets !??!

Like I have mentioned with the article up here, Spacey for Luthor? Ohh *sigh*

As for Comic book movies, not particularly superhero movies, I can't wait to see what Robert Rodriguez will do with Frank Miller's Sin City.

I have seen the exclusive ten min of that movie. For sure Rodriguez is going to impress lots of people with it, still though I do not think that this big amount of computer was necessary for the film...

I've been looking for the 10 min file, but all the sites have taken it down, so it's hard to find.

Just an update for those who don't already know

Kevin Spacey has been cast as Lex Luthor

and Kate Bosworth has been cast as Lois Lane.

Image

Filming begins in March in Australia,

Routh will be wearing Blue contacts for the role since he has brown eyes.

And will Kate Bosworth be dying the fuck out of her blond hair?

well she might hold on to the fuck, but I don't see her being a blond Lois.

Yeah I don't see him as Lex either, but he's such a good actor that he's definitely good enough to pull it off.

I thought the Mary Jane wasn't mary-jane-ish too, but I always thought it was more the script's fault than Kirsten Dunst's. It was probably a bit of a combination of both, but if your saying lines the character wouldn't say, it's hard to make them sound like the character.

true enough, they at least kept the nicknames for peter in there, but she didn't even pull them off correctly
