Also, what the hell is up with Americans not knowing Nanaimo Bar-y goodness? This Maryland girl in the caf was like "what the crap is this thing" and we just stared at her in shocked silence.

It's not custard, it's basically whipped butter and sugar

With semi0hard chocolate on top and a nice coconutty cakey thing on bottom. Fuckin great
