Alanis Morisette annoys the crap out of me.

I was never a HUGE fan of her music, but now I have a couple of friends (that are girls) that are obsessed w/ her. Everytime we're in our art class and Alanis comes on the radio they start spouting femenist propaganda bullshit and it drives me fucking crazy. One time, after Alanis had just gotten married IRL, one of them said something like "She can't get MARRIED! She hates men! She SHOULD be gay!"

Now they're all mad that she got married because she doesn't make angry music anymore.

:freak: She'd probably annoy the crap outta me, too, if I knew people like that. That's... umm.... scary.

Well, they can rejoice because I heard Alanis had men as bridesmaids.

Back to the topic of the thread... I like the song.

Back on topic though, I listened to another song from L.A.M.B. (Gwen Stefani's solo album) called Harajuku Girls and it was a horrible, horrible song.

I think that probably clinches it that the song is about herself, then.

Also: Tragic Kingdom  Best ND album hands down.

Also: Jagged Little Pill  Definitely the first album I ever fell in love with (I was like 10 years old heh)

So has anyone listened to the new record? I've listened a few times, and I'd say it is one of the best albums of 2004. She is so unbelievably talented. the song with outkast is a standout. it is such variety of music- it goes from dance to slow to rap to rock to r&b- it's crazy!

What is her damn obsession with Harajuku girls though?
