I'd say back up everything of value, and reformat the whole thing. But if that's just not an option, don't listen to me.

i can't back anything up since my computer is broke. someone else suggest knoppix? i don't know how to to the repair install. i can do the complete installation but that will lose everything. i have a series of six reformat cds. how do i do just a repair windows installl or whatever?
