The ATTACK was on the USA as an institution, though.

I agree, but people from everywhere died in the WTC. It was principally against the USA though, that I can agree to. but k, Are we all in agreement that it DID happen?

ya good stuff Corey.

And Sine, just because people from everywhere died in the WTC attacks doesn't mean it was an attack against every nation in the world. The US was targetted and it just so happened people from other countries were killed as well. If the terrorists wanted to attack the world they could have easily hit the UN building as a symbol of that, but they didn't.

It's safe to say it did happen, but there is nothing wrong with looking at alternative views just so long as you follow the facts properly. I'm not one for conspiracies but there's nothing wrong with alternative views if they are legit. This however wasn't.

Thanks for the kind words guys. Please know that I am out for the truth as well.

As for the debate on the "Attack on USA vs World". I agree that the attack was on the US. However, I think of it as a movement against western civilization. Don't think that for a moment that those involved in 9/11 make a distinction between "Americans" and "Canadians". Canadians threaten their way of life also. Maybe not in a militarial fashion but more of an exemplary form. What with your music, and movies, and women exposing their faces, and freedom to choose religion. That terrifies the fundamentalists in Arab organizations that believe their way of life is being threatened. They will do whatever necessary to scare people away from their nation and in fact consider it their duty.

Why the US? In my opinion, it is because the US is the strongest of those nations that are threatening. You won't beat modern civilization by taking out Jamaica.

That's just my 2 cents.

Ummm. The US was attacked because of all the atrocious things your military has been doing to the world, and lesser countries for... what, 40-50 years? Sure it might be a powerhouse, but its because of abuse of that power that so many nations in the world despise America.

Oh here we go. The US deserved 9/11? Is that what you're saying. Name ONE thing the US did that made us deserve 9/11! Tell me, what was flying planes into buildings a response to?

That's one of the dumbest things you have ever written.

Now I'm just getting my information from Fahrenheit 9/11, which I'm sure everyone will jump down my throat for, but that’s okay.

Wasn't the United States bombing Middle Eastern countries on a weekly bases?

Not to go all pro Canada or anything but, it is true that America tends to be more ignorant and untolerant towards other cultures and religions and such. American wants it's citizens to adopt to American culture and be American. Canada wants everyone to be diverse, people are free to do what they want and embrace their cultures and whatever, we ask people to bring their beliefs and such with them and teach others. Canada is a peaceful country, we pose no threat to anyone in anyway whatsoever.

Yeah, but your not gonna blow up a country because 'they're not as open as they could be...'

Right, because American and Canadian culture is soooooooooo different.

It actually is. We may wear the same clothes, and listen to the same music and stuff. But if you look deeper there are a lot of differences, we say and pronounce things differently, we act differently, theres a lot of differences actually.

:O I absolutely dont think the US deserved 9/11. No one could deserve such a thing to happen to innocent people. Any people. All i'm saying is it wasnt just because the US is the most powerful nation in the world.

Perhaps dumb in your opinion, but its the Truth. Countries dont just get attacked because. Or atleast, not by anyone but the US.

Prior to 9/11, what countries were attacked without reason? What atrocious acts were commited by the US military? When did they occur? Can you provide me with evidence that the attacks on the US were motivated by what our military has done?

i dont see whats so dumb. i am amazed how half the american population is so ignorant to the facts and when i know the facts they dont seem to give a shit

What facts? Show us facts. What "TRUTH"? Stop spewing rhetoric and cite examples as to how we are being "ignorant".

And it truly is hilarious that you think Canada is so much different. What becaus you say "eh?" at the end of a statement? Seriously, get over yourselves.

Only the US has been attacked? Have you been asleep for the last few years?

How about Spain? What about Israel time and time again? India ring a bell? Or do you ignore all attacks that aren't specifically against the US?
