I didn't have the real cd until last year, and I went to Gray Whale to get it and put it in the cd player at the store. I was like uhm there's something wrong with this cd, there's like ten minutes of just talking on this track! But then I realized it totally went along with all the other R.K. thingies. I still haven't listened to the whole thing through.

What the crap.

After innumerable threads on the subject, uncountable discussions in the OLP section and being a fan for how long? you only find this out now.

wow.

That's gotta be a record or something. :P

i thought the track was only like 13 minutes long :uhh:

the weird part is that i knew it was a long track and i'm sure i've left the cd running a bunch of times, but never came across this.

Starseed 10- If you saw OLP this year or on the SM tour that was the track they used in the begining of the concert. You can't hear the talking so much on the Gravity tour cause it was faint, but listen to your live Cd and right before All FOr You, you will hear it. THat is also how they opened the SM tour. Ray/Molly into Mid of Yesterday.

alot of bands do that. I don't play that track cause it is too long, not that I dont' lie TWF.

The only thing I don't like aobut hidden tracks is sometimes they are after 10-15 minutes. Most people turn off the cd on the last song and don't look at the cd still clocking time although nosound is coming out.

Nirvana did that with nevermind. 13 minutes of silence after the last song then a song called something nothing I think. Not all of the cd's had it though. I was lucky. My Nevermind has the hidden track.

I feel love, I feel a power. It comes to me in the darkest hour. And I want to feel it again

I do look at the time, but I'm still really glad that Matthew Good and Sarah Slean put their hidden tracks no more than 30 seconds after the last song. It's so annoying, having to skip through several minutes of silence.

Before the cd was released I remember in cd reviews critics talking about the 17 minutes of dead speace in between the wonderful future. So I was hypothetically prepared for such circumstance.

Plus the cd reviews for Spiritual Machines kicked ass! I love that album!!!!

It STILL freaks me out. I was ready for something to be there, cos I always check for hidden tracks on cds.... but... it's just to creepy.

Monkey doesn't like it, either. I played it for him once, and he stopped it after a minute or so and told me that we're never going to go see OLP ever again.
