I thought about doing it, but at the time I thought they might announce more dates, and I could go see They Might Be Giants in Portland, OR on the 13th instead. Now I won't get to do either though. :uh:

See, I was going to go to this show earlier on in the year. And drive out from Halifax, NS to go see it. But I came to a realization that waiting to go to a more intimate venue when they release their new album will be even more of a plus. Because say if they play in Rochester, NY. or somewhere in Maine. I'm so there because it's not that far!

It's only like six hours to Denver. Yet...I've never been there. I'm still trying to talk my mom into going but I doubt she will.

They also may be playing Orlando on Sept 5th. Remember that mystery band contest with the radio station. I even emailed the station. I will be in Orlando that week. If I knew for a fact OLP were the band I take a late flight out Sunday night. I have to work that labor day.(Monday) so I can't stay over.

I made a post to a bootlegs newsgroup offering multiple bootlegs for a copy of this show. I know that a lot of people on that group record shows, so I'm hoping for the best! If I do happen to get a copy, I'll be sure to get it out to someone who can get it on the hub (I'm on dial up, so it would be quickest for me to send a copy off to someone with a fast connection. Of course, that's only if I get the show :lol:

I can't imagine that NOBODY would record this... considering it's such a huge show... the only thing that would kill us is if none of the tapers in attendance record OLP's set. With our luck... that'll happen. :uh:

Im going but I have no recording capabillities. I don't have anything to boot it with nor can I go buy something quickly. Anyone wanna let me borrow something, i'll get it in haha. Roundtrip airfare is 461, plus car is 40, then ticket is 50, and hotel will be around 85 dollars. Me and (Clumsy_Birdman) JIM are flying out on the day of, and back to Tennessee the next day. Jim's in america for only a few more weeks and since we're huge OLP fans we figured why not. When will we get the chance again? this will be amazing!!

Did it say anything about Camera? "goes off to red rocks site"
