I think that's 18 credits
Somehow I have to get from Mason Hall (on Central Campus) in my Phil 388 class to the School of Music (on North Campus) for Musicology 422 in 10 minutes. It's going to work. Really it is.

so, the first day of registration was yeterday, and i was super pissed because 15 minutes after my registration began, the majority of the classes i wanted were full, supposedly. but for some reason today, i checked again, and i was finally able to register to all the classes i wanted. except my film studies class. i was able to register into the second half during the winter semester, but i couldn't register into the first half during the fall semester. but part one is a prerequiste for part 2, so i have to get into that class somehow. this is so frustrating.

Tell me about it. I am so scared. I have no idea what classes to take, at all. I know the ones I want to take, but at my university if you get too many credit hours not required, then they won't let you into the major. So if you go for too long without declaring, you are pretty much screwed and won't get into any of them. I'm sure all the classes are completely full. It's gonna be a huge struggle to get into the ones I need. Not to mention that they haven't let me know about financial aid yet, so if I don't get that...then I won't be going to college.

My course selection is tomorrow, and I have the worst deal. I'm one of the last groups to regester, since they did it alphabetically. I have a feeling a lot of the courses I want to do are going to be full.

i'm not in the psych program yet, so i am scared they are going to kick me out of the psych courses i've registered for already, in order to let the people that are already in the program register for them.

That's how all schools do it. The more hours you accumulate, the earlier you'll be able to register.

Not my school... The entire school registers for classes online between April 1st and May 1st. During this time you are guarenteed to be in the classes you register for, except for those where you needed a certain average, or had to apply to get in to. After May 1st, you can still change your classes, but you're at risk of being put on a waiting list if that class is filled up, which only happens 1/4th of the time.
They also don't restrict anyone who is going for a certain major from taking any courses. Most majors at my school are 10 credits, or 8 if you're doing a joint major (as I'm doing) so really half of your classes can be from outside your major.
