The only times I've gotten setlists are when there's no barrier and I pull myself onto the stage just enough to grab one. Or when I'm working at a show during set changes.

Security people think it's funny to tell people they'll get them a setlist and run the other way when the show is done.

Ditto. The only setlist I have is from Greenwheel when they played Philly. It was RIGHT in front of me the whole show, and I called it.

My setlist came form last year in Columbus. I wasn't paying much attention after OLP left the stage when my friend pointed out the security guard had the set list in his hands.

He gave it to the guy next to me 6'4" 240 lbs drank 8 beers before the show only there for seether jackass. But the same instant it hit the guys hands I grabbed one end of it.

I didn't care I just went for it. It was an actual tug o war for a second I thought it was going to rip but it didn't. This isn't just paper it's like waterproof coated contruction paper.

The guy yelled at me said he was going to give it to the girls on the other side of me. But they were there more because 'Raine is hot' then there for the actual concert. They wern't singing for anything but SOT so I don't think they were real big fans. I was more deserving of it.

I had the set list for the State Theater show in Detroit in my hands for a second. One of the people I was hanging out with pre-show managed to get it. He was showing it off "look what I got" I said "Hey cool thanks!" took it and started walking off. I'll never forget that look of pure hatred, "I would had ripped you to shreds and left your body parts sprawled out across the state if I knew you were serious" look in his eyes when he took it back from me.

Would you settle for a copy of one. Hey I will even send the autograph one. you are going to hate me for saying this, but I got the set list a few shows in 2001. My favorite is from Paris. (2002) I got it signed cause that show was a milestone for me. It is special. With OLP, I always seem to get the set list. I will give it to the people with me. I am more into Guitar picks.

The last set list I got was Velevet Revolver from Roseland. i was suppose to get the 2nd night of Matthew Good in Ottawa, but the girtl swiped it from my hand. Afterwards one of his tech people said he was looking for me to give me one cause he saw the girl take it. I wasn't around so he gave it to another fan. , wish I knew that.

Nikki, if we see OLP together in the front I will get you one or try my hardest.

I use to know the guards at roseland so they always gave me or my friends the set list. Usually band crew if they hear you will toss it out to the front. You have to ask before shows start. Call dibbs on it. That is how I get mine.

right now I got(OLP)
2001
Both Irving shows(NYC)
Trocodero(Philly)
The Chance- Poughkeepsie
Vanderbelt(LongIsland)
Lupos- Rhode Island( I call this hitting the mother load cause it came with the lyrics to Imagine underneath it)

2002:
Toledo
MTV Pier show with Moby
Birmingham(gave to person with me)
Manchester(gave to person with me)
Paris(kept)

I might have from others, but don't remember.

I usually just writet the songs down on paper at every show. I got into th ehabit cause I had a friend who did conceret reviews for college, so I just am always writing up the songs at every show I go to.

Steve withdrew from the team. :(
He's coming back next year with the wings though... he says he will be playing it year by year though.

I hate the lack of Detroit news here in Columbus.

Sucks to be a fan of anything and everything Detroit or Michigan but live in Columbus.

My whole reason for going to the exhibition game next month was to see Stevie. Guess I can still go to support Canada.

Thx for the info

I'm with you Gail on the guitar picks. I came so close to getting one of Steve's last year. I almost got trampled in the process though.

Oh man... that story about tug of war reminded me of the one show I went to... pretty sure it was OLP... I think it was Atlantic City. Two people were fighting over a setlist, doing the tug of war thing... the setlist wound up torn to pieces. That made me sad. Especially since both people walked away smug cos "the other person didn't get it"... I just can't understand how people's minds work like that. I don't think either of them even really cared for the band, they were just fighting over it for the sake of "winning". Meanwhile, I'm standing by watching in horror. Stupid people.

That doesn't sound very polite. If I were a strong fellow (HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA) I would not wrestle smaller people over drumsticks. A simple backhand would make the process quicker and less painful.
I just wanna get out,

i got a setlist from the free show at the ACC.

the security guard was giving them out.. i was behind the first 2 rows, cuz you can't go all the way to the front... and the guard said to someone up front "give it to that girl" and pointed at me and i just went 8O
and then the guard gave one to the guy who gave it to me, cuz he actually did. lol

mmm, setlist
with footprints on it and everything
you have to, you just have to trust me
whoever i was then i can't ever be again
the faith you've found i've never felt
the terror held in wedding bells
the comfort in "there's no one else"
the truth be told, i'm never going to know

The pick was on the ground and I had my foot over it. The guy actually dug his hand beneath my foot (by this time it was stomping on him) and grabbed it. :(
