Majors

I'm nowhere near college, so chances are my interests and therefore my answer to this question will change, but for now I'm thinking of majoring in film or English/writing/whatever.

You don't have majors or minors in high school buddy. You have classes. You don't earn degrees. God....would someome please let me flame on this kid? Just once?

Lots of high schools around here, the specialized ones, do require you to pick an area of emphasis. That doesn't mean you're "majoring" or "minoring" in anything because you don't get a degree. Degree is pretty much the same as "major". I wonder if I have to pick a minor...hm.

I just finished High School and I have no real plan of action. At least its not fully fleshed out. I dont plan to major in anything. I plan to work for a year, then go to "New Media Campus" which would give me the skills needed to work in the game industry or computer graphic industry.
