I guess the result is the only thing that counts, but what an awful match. France was just as bad though. I hope Croatia make it to the quarter finals.

Mainly because of my job (at a theme park), 14-15 year old english kids in soccer shirts are always the ones causing trouble. Arrogant, agressive and annoying, very similar to Wayne Rooney

Ya France was sub-par today. You have to think they'll be able to handle the Swiss though and cleanly advance into the quarters.

Their defense just isn't as strong anymore. They're getting old, and most teams have young strikers who outpace them easily. Their midfield and forwards are amazing (did you see zidane's flick off of the one corner? that was nothing short of fantastic) but their defense may cost them the tournament

Finally, we're out of the tournament. Maybe people will start acting normal again now. How the hell we got through to the semi finals is a mystery to me. We played terrible and won only one game, against Latvia. Forca Portugal.

I'm hoping Greece will win. Because they're the underdog, because a friend of me has been saying they would win since the very start, and because I've bet money on them.

whoever wins, i'm gonna be hearing a lot of horns honking as people go speeding down the streets after the game, not that i mind, but they never stop it continues long into the night even, hours after the game
