You can't really go that way, ya know. There are people in prison that didn't deserve to go, and you know that. Not every person imprisioned is guilty, there has to be a few that aren't.
But why should someone have all their rights taken away because of something that happened in the past? Prison is made to rehabilitate the inmates so when they enter the real world again, they're capable of being fully functional members of society. So how does taking away each and every one of their rights really rehabilitate them into being a member of society? All it really does is make them a wee bit disgruntled and out of touch when they are released.
People still need to have the rights that are clearly defined in the constitution. That piece of paper was written for circumstances like this. There's no small print after it saying "unless you're in jail, then you have no rights." These are our God-given rights, therefore, no one has the right to take it away.

well technically, only the HUMAN right are god given really, the rest are civil rights and if you break the law, should you still be entitled to those rights, i mean they broke some of their own rights when they did the crime, so if they can't use all their properly in the first place they should be suspended until they get out of prison
Queens Of The Stone Age-Someone's In The Wolf
Once you're lost in twillights's blue
You don't find your way, the way finds you...
Tempt the fates, beware the smile
It hides all the teeth, my dear,
What's behind them...
So glad you could stay
Forever
He steps between the trees, a crooked man
There's blood on the blade
Don't take his hand
You warm by the firelight, in twilight's blue
Shadows creep & dance the walls
He's creeping too..
So glad you could stay
Forever
