I remember a while ago someone ( I can't remember who) came up with "Our Lady Peace- this is war". I think that would be a great title. I really hope they steer clear of the Gravity-ish stuff. Oh, and Clumsy_Birdman, I had this avatar picture first.

'twas me who came up with "This Is War". Works with WTSOYF, which they seem to love, and it leaves the meaning open to pertain to more of the album.

Yeah, but that's got a more "Look, we're a band writing songs about touring" feel. :P

umm...............

maybe....................."growing back wings"

True it's ripped off from OTIF, but it's what they're doing: growing back their talent and reputation after cutting it off.

Let's hope that's what they're doing.

meh, i think this should be better than gravity. It doesn't take much, but it seems that Raines pissed off, so it seems better than his boy-girl ballads on Gravity

Yeah, the sound of No Warning really reminded me of Clumsy, which is always good!

Like many people said Im sure it will be a decent album but not a phenomenal groundbreaking earth-shattering revolutionary one. Im just hoping for something better than gravity, something more original. Ooooo and i hope they bring Sol back i know they wont but if they did id be happy

no band on the cover, some really abstract art maybe. i like covers that have really weirdish creative art on it and makes you think about it.

im also hoping for more than just 10 songs (like they did in gravity) but i guess im asking for too much.

JUST SOMETHING DIFFERENT FROM GRAVITY is alright with me, not that i hate it or anything

Hope, if I remember correctly, in an article a while ago, Raine said they were going to make this a twelve-track CD. Now, things may have changed from then, but it's something.
I just wanna get out,

I don't like that. I don't like that they already set out that there will only be 12 tracks. Why don't they not aim towards doing anything and just let it flow out?

well they did write something like 27 songs for the new record...so they are likely going to choose the best 12 that fit well together and are their best work for the album
Is there something good, something more?
Is there anything worth dying for?

Raine needs to learn how to sing (again).

Honestly, how is Raine's current vocals any different than the guy from Nickelback's or like, Puddle of Mudd and shit like that?

The thing that drew most of the OLP fans here was Raine's unique use of the falsetto. You know, the one thing in his voice that made him stand out from a crowd of Canadian rock bands. Without the falsetto, all you have is a guy opining for record sales.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.
