Duncan is in my teeth.
Just because I am sexy, naked, a bassist, and sporting a top hat doesn't make me Duncan Coutts!

it never ends my friend, it never ends.
"When looking up there, I just felt whole, like I belonged. Like one day I too would shine my most brilliant. Sitting there also made me think about sitting through services at my little country church back home. About that never-changing congregation of the same sixty-seven people and everyone has known you since before you were born. Now, out here in the real world, everything just seemed more vivid than when I used to sit in that little pew. That pew that was now so, so far away from where I was. I feared I had somehow left God behind there, too. I feared he was somehow just sitting there, saving my seat on the fifth pew from the front row, just waiting on me to come back. I left so quickly, I worried that he may not have noticed I was gone. And, now, I’m just too far away to find. So he’s just sitting there, patiently waiting on me to come back. I closed my eyes and prayed a moment. I hoped more than anything that he could still hear me." -an excerpt from my novella, A Sea of Fallen Leaves.

:Johnathan: Still trying to figure out JUST WHAT IS THIS THREAD ABOUT?

Oh NIkki, I once listened to NAVEED( whole CD-except Neon Crossing) for 4 months straight-every day)

As for still loving OLP. Yeap still do    -don't necessarily love all their material, but I still love the band(pass and present members)
and they have given us so much material over the years to listen to.

I feel love, I feel a power. It comes to me in the darkest hour. And I want to feel it again

Neon Crossing was the song that made me listen to the rest of Naveed. When I got Naveed, I was expecting a sound like Happiness and Clumsy. Different=bad, apparently. Anyway, now I'm in love with it.

Big Neon Crossing, it showed me the way.
I just wanna get out,
Stuck inside of this.
Waiting for something else,

yeah i'm with Gail, as i've said before i still like olp, i wouldn't be here if i didn't and i'm still holding out that Gravity was just a horrible mistake. One bad album doesn't erase the 4 good ones before in my mind. But i think we should all just stop making excuses for Gravity and at least acknowledge it for what it is.....is a sub-par olp album mainly consisting of pop-rock, that in many cases American Hi-fi pulled off better

yea i'm gonna have to go ahead and disagree with that one.

I like Gravity. I don't think cause someone actually *shock* likes Gravity means they're trying to make excuses for it. If you don't like the album, thats fine, doesn't mean the people who do like it shouldn't.

LANDO and others to answer your question. I don't listen to Neon Crossing because I do not like that song-never did. What made it bad is they actually played it live in the earlier Gravity sets. I actually left the Hammerstein show when they did this song. Got BUSTED by Jeremy. He asked why I left before show ended. I said I went to the bathroom.

I seem to dislike the songs everyone else loves. Every CD has at least one song I refuse to listen to.
Neon Crossing(just don't like it)
Automaitc Flowers( Can't stand Raine's vocals on this-especially live)
OMA( Evreything about this song I do not like. Video is aweful, just annoys me-but I will say this I like how Steve used the Ebow for this live)
Everyone's a Junkie( annoying song)
Whatever( aweful lyrics)
All For YOu( another song I hate how Raine sings it)
Our Tme Is Fading(reminds me of Whatever-which I also don't like)

out of the newer *unreleased tracks* I do not care for
talk is cheap.

I love WIC and WTSOYF.

I told you I didn't like every song they have recorded. I still love the band. I keep telling my friend this will be the OLP CD I will think it aweful. Every band I like has at least one CD I absolutely rather not listen to. So Far I can listen to all of OLP's CD except a few song so they have a CD in them I will not like overall. Hell you all know how huge of a U2 fan I am and I don't like one of their CD's. I think it is pure crap(how some of you may feel about Gravity) so It is possible to not like a CD from one of your favorite bands.
