I hope that he might do one or two OLP songs, particularly Naveed

not consistently, but every now and then. He seems to be going down the road jazz musician go down. If he can't keep a stable band, that's fine. Just as long as he keeps performing.

He'd have to pay royalities to his old band. No one would want to do that. Thats just not cool.

oh yeah, forgot about those royalties :( . But I think some point in his career, he'll do it at least once.

You don't have to pay royalties unless you release a cover. To play it live, it's free.

Yeah, but he could have signed something when he left that keeps him from playing any OLP songs live for a certain period of time. A lot of bands do that- usually for five years, sometimes more.

Theres no chance that Mike will play an OLP song.

Well, no matter if he plays olp songs or not the important is that we could have the chance to see him play again....that's the most important. Anyway his new stuff is awesome as well

Nikki's right you don't have to pay royalties to perform it live. You do need consent from the artist usually, however since Mike Turner was involved with the creating of the music. It may be different.
