yeah i have been using it for the past month on comcast cause that is when i got brodband a month ago and i havn't gotten a letter, i have downloaded t.v. shows and movies.

Yeah, it was an actual letter in the mail. I started reading it and was like "oh god, they caught me for all my mp3s"... then I got to the bottom where it listed the offending file info and read "Charmed" and out loud said "Charmed??? CHARMED!??!?!" Of all the things for them to catch me for... a TV show I downloaded, watched, and deleted immediatly. :roll:

Oh, me!? Haha. *glad you edited that post*

The program I was using that I got the letter for was bittorrent, from suprnova.org. But normally I use (in order of searching for something) the hub, WinMX, then Kazaa.

has anyone tried downloading whole dvd's then burning them?

Wondering if its worth my money to purchase a dvd burner

Heh, I've downloaded a bunch of whole DVDs... haven't had the chance to burn any of them yet, though, cos my computer's not a whole computer. :neutral:

do they work pretty well? I dont want to download 5gb movie and find out that i do need the dvd burner!
