After much speculation on message boards and gossip, Canadian Rock Band Our Lady Peace have decided to call it a day after 10+ years. No real reason was given. The band was working on a new CD(Which turns out will be their final CD) No word on a Farewell tour(if any)

Rumours on what the band will do now that they are no longer are. Guitarist Steve Mazur and Drummer Jeremy Taggart will be become session players for hire and tour and play with different artist. Singer/Songwriter Raine Maida has decided to concentrate on Producing and finding newer talent. Bassist Duncan Coutts has decided to leave the music industry all together and be a stay at home Dad/Husband.

I was joking with my friend over the weekend about this cause so many people are complaining the band isn't releasing material fast enough for them. I said to her wouldn't it be really ironic if this was their last cd and they never toured again.

I know people would be upset.

on a serious note, am I the only one who feels they won't win any JUNOS this year? I think Nickelback is going to be the big winner, and the DVD will probably go to Avril or Simple Plan.
