oh really? and who did you buy it from? and who did he/she buy it from? and so on? The land was bought originally by the government.. you are merely a tenant.

It appears you're the one "grasping for straws"

No, corey, he is not a tenant.

I'm the original owner of my 2000 Ford Focus - i sold it to somebody else. are they merely "renting" that car? do they need to pay me taxes for it's use?

the government of canada cannot own anything, as it cannot posses money that is not stolen.

the thing about arguing with you is that sometimes you disregard entirely some of the key points we are making. your argument that the government of Canada is in fact an elaborately set up anarchist model of private property is ridiculous.

we're grasping at straws? how can an entity that relies soley on public funds looted from the producers own anything? how can "canada" own anything? What is "canada"? Is it a person? Is it a group of people? is it the name of a large body of land?

government by nature is the antithesis of private property. disagree? tell me why.

Look back a few posts.

You guys admit that if you are born within a government, you are by default a citizen of that governement and are automatically subjected to the contract of its laws. You were born in Canada, so you are a citizen. Tell me what's so difficult about that?

Canada's government has been around for a while. Maybe you didn't agree to it, but your ancestors did so I guess you're SOL. And you still haven't answered who the Canadian government "stole" its land from. And either way, if that's the case, then you don't own your damn land either if it was sold to you by someone who stole it. So go ahead, continue to talk yourself into circles, I'm done listening to your incessant pissing and moaning.

ahem. a dead person, like my ancestor, cannot enter me into a binding agreement. how does that make sense, even to you?

the government didn't "steal" canada. they bought it with stolen funds. taxes are stolen.

We did not say that if you're born within territory controlled by "goverment" that you are automatically a citizen. I was asked if "governments" could be formed in an anarchist civil society. The answer was that if like minded property owners formed a community and elected officials, nobody would stop them.

This would be permissable because the private owners of the property are allowed to govern their property in anyway they choose.

If the property owners have children, then the children are subject to that same ruling until they have their own property. the same rules apply to guests.

The government owns no property. therefore, they've no right to tell me how i live on my property.

what about THIS is so difficult?
