the faith you've found i've never felt
the terror held in wedding bells
the comfort in "there's no one else"
the truth be told, i'm never going to know

he has the whitest beatbox of all time.
*shudder*

He wrote a McDonalds commerical and tried to pass it off as a song. Cheep Bastard.

You don't even have to mention that moron.

Besides Justin Timberprick,I think all hip hop and rap or whatever songs are annoying except a couple eminem ones. And of course,Celine and the like...(not in the mood for her anytime)

BTW,what Milkshake song?I've heard of that a lot,but never actaully heard it, or just once?Fortunately no one plays that kind of trash around me.
Shame on you if you fool me once, shame on me if you fool me twice...

I'd say, Milkshake - Kelis, any song by Justin Timberlake over the past year, and definitely the whole foreign invasion era of the early 90's ...
chumbawamba (whatever) - tubthumping
Aqua - Barbie Girl
Ace of Base - Saw a Sign
-----
Girls and Boys - GC
Wheres the Love - Black Eyed Peas
and anything by Beyonce

--- ive got more, but ill stop complaining ...

Anything by Nelly or Ja Rule. I also hate anything Nelly or Ja Rule participate in. I cannot stand their songs, or attitudes.

:wtf:

I cannot believe that no one's even mentioned the ultimate cliché, little miss Britney Spears...
"if the nuremberg trials were applied to us foreign policy, every us president since 1945 would have been hanged." noam chomsky.

...and this is me hanging on / i'd burn our initials in the sun if it would shine / anxiety chokes me like razor wire / if hate's in your heart man, you'll take what you're given / wake up / i'm not the only one / it's never goodbye / go ahead and play dead / if everyone's a casualty, then take your time, there ain't no trouble / these wounds they will not heal / ambition can be a tricky thing / what the hell do i know about rape anyway? / this is not what i hoped for / ain't it so weird how it makes you a weapon / who will be there to tell me how stupid i am? / those living for death will die by their own hand / and it's me that I am spying on / pick up the pieces and live with the stars / hurry up and wait / things have never been so swell / they're always the ones who slowly drift / be great / ...and this is my world.

i'd say that good charlotte is the ultimate cliche, but that's just me.

as for britney, i find she actually writes her kind of music pretty well. she surpisingly knows alot about music and is pretty talented. i think she'll come around someday and make some really meaningful music. she's getting there.

somebody's bound to make fun of me for saying that.

<p>And in my darkest moment, fetal and weeping. The moon tells me a secret. My confidant. As full and bright as I am, this light is not my own. A million light reflections pass over me. It's source is bright and endless. She resuscitates the hopeless. Without her we are lifeless satellites dreaming dreams. And as I pull my head out I am without one doubt. Don't want to be down here feeding my narcissism. I must crucify the ego before it's far too late. I pray the light lifts me out before I pine away.

her new album still is pretty shitty, but i do aknowledge it's better, i wouldn't say much about her music writing though bud, she nly wrote like one song on her new album
"How can we justify spending so much on destruction and so little on life?" Matthew Good

"The white dove is gone, the one world has come down hard, so why not share the pain of our problems, when all around are wrong ways, when all around is hurt, i'll roll up in an odd shape and wait, untill the tide has turned.....with anger, i'm dead weight, i'm anchored"- IME, God Rocket (Into the Heart of Las Vegas) ^ Some say this song is about a terrorists thoughts before 911

"Pray for the sheep" Matt Good
"But it's alright, take the world and make it yours again" Matt Good

I felt it in the wind, and i saw it in the sky, i thought it was the end, i thought it was the 4th of July.

"Hold on, hold on children, your mother and father are leaving, hold on, hold on children your best freind's parents are leaving, leaving,.......*AHHH*! " - Death From Above - Black History Month

Heh, she doesn't write her music. The songwriting credits she gets are most likely for changing a lyric here or there on a few songs... sort of like Elvis, but not as talented. :freak:

How do the Beatles make that list :wtf: I mean I'll be the first to admit, that's not one of their better songs...but it certainly doesn't belong on a list with most of those songs. I also disagree with the Pink song being on there (could they have at least put up the right title?) but I wasn't as shocked by that as by the Beatles. Also, I though Kelis should have been #1.

Plus, the fact that they openly admit it shows that they don't actually care about music and they're just in it to make a quick buck. Anyone who's a fan of their music is a bloody fucking moron, but at least the band's honest.

Fountains of Wayne have been a band for like nine years. They care about music, but they just wrote a hit song and know they'll never match the success of it.

I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

When I read the title of this thread the first things I thought of were 'Right Thurr' and 'Holidae Inn'. There have been so many lunch-times I've been forced to listen to those songs and honestly thought my head was about to explode. I'm also extremely surprised that 'Oops, I did it again' wasn't there. That song came out when I used to listen to Britney Spears and pop and I still hated it with passion.

I don't think the Pink song is the only thing he got wrong. I was pretty sure that in St. Anger the line was "It's bustin' out!" and I know for a fact that it's "It don't matter if you're black or white" not doesn't. . not that that really matters.

So, a band that cares a lot about music wrote a hit song just to get a hit song.

Yeah, sounds like they really care...
