I'm starting to find it (somewhat) depressing that Kerry is becoming so damn popular all the sudden.

Why is that? I like Kerry.

Sylvia Brown predicted Kerry would win the Democratic nomination...

So if she says he's going to win then it must be true!

I geuss I am the only who thinks it is hilarious that all the democratic candidates are whacked. Ok, I'm sorry but I don't know which one of them, but I believe it was Dean, who was saying things like he wasn't sure if Saddam deserved the death sentence. He just seems fake and inconsistent. Why isn't it that big of a deal if Dean freaks out over this, and then Bush speaks like a Texan. Someone will always find a reason to bash whoever. It is a big deal to me, just because it's fine and dandy time to give them a dose of their own medicine maybe?

That being said, I really don't think it matters if any politician shows a wee bit of emotion once in a while.

I didn't get a chance to listen to the debate. The next morning I heard it on the Howard Stern Show( yes I listen to Howard) it was funny cause they put AC/DC music to it-so it made it funny. Then the next day they added diferent songs to where he says all the states and cities. it makes it sound funny.

they were talking about it this morning. How this speech seemed to ruin his campaign and he isn't present material. THey brought ( HSS) a good point. If you watch some of BUSH's things-he isn't very presidental either.

I will say he got a bit emotional, but do I not like it. It hasn't changed my opinion one way or the other. There are certain issues Iam concerned about. Iam voting on that.

Right, but the people who bash Bush for not being "very presidential" shouldn't want one of their candadidates to resemble Bush in any way, shape, or form.

there's an article in Texas Monthly (alright, start laughing at the fact we have a TexAn magazine), that outlines how bush isn't the same person he was 4 years ago.

I need to read that one.

The only thing that has me questioning Bush thus far is the new immigration thing.

I like guys who make up words...'tis cool.

the thing is, i could really care less who becomes the democratic nominee. Unfortunately, Bush will win in a landslide.

you know, I'm starting to think it will be closer then what I thought. I mean Bush has the obvious advantage and there is a lot of American pride but I have heard so much anti-bush propaganda in the media and what not that I starthing to think people may vote Democratic out of it. Which is a very nice thought.

no. as much as i'd love to see that, trust me... it wont happen.

He caught Saddam...

It's hard to know who Americans really want to be president before an actual election, small groups make the most noise.

If Bush loses this election... I'll cut my arm off.
His approval rating, although slipping a bit lately, is too high. None of the democrats vying to be president have what it takes to defeat bush. The only democrat out there right now who could put up a fight against Bush is Hilary- and she's not running for democratic nominee. If one of them beat Bush, I will cut off my arm- but it's not gonna happen.

I was disapointed Hillary wasn't going to run for office. She would have made an excelent candidate, and probably would have given Bush a run for his money (no pun intended)
