I eat whatever. I'm not really on any FANCEH DIET, I just regulate my carb intake (because I don't need any more sugars in my body) and eat a lot less junk than I used to eat. My excercise of choice is a 20-40 minute walk (I have a couple of different routes I take, but the longer walk is a tougher walk), but I've been slacking off lately because seriously, it's just too dang cold, man. I'm waiting for the spring to start walking again, and I'm going to start working out in the weight room at my school during gym class. I figure, I have gym about twice a week, and if I'm doing a WORKOUT with weights and stuff twice a week + walking everyday when I get home, I'll be doing pretty well.

I have lost weight in the past few years. I've lost 8 pounds since last year, which isn't WONDERFUL but it's a good start, and I'm still slowly losing weight. I'm hoping to drop down to around 130 and I'm hoping I'm around 140 now? I dunno.

i would say i'm fairly healthy .. i'm never sick, never get colds, never had the flu or anything serious like that. i've been vegetarian for over a year now but i'm a junk food vegetarian, meaning i eat a lot of crap and don't put much work into making 'healthy' foods .. since going veg i've never once been sick and my summer allergies disappeared completely this summer, don't know if that's because of my diet change though.

I don't exercise, simply because i don't have anyone to go with. I want a gym membership eventually though and i plan on taking a kickboxing class. once i'm back in my own place i'll exercise more .. getting a punching bag :)

I'm in the worst shape of my life right now, but really it's still pretty good. I used to be on the ice for hockey 5 or 6 days of the week for like 10 months and then I stopped playing competitively this past year. I'm now only on the ice once or twice a week so my body isn't used to the less exercise.

I eat pretty good as well for being in Rez. It's easy to eay pizza and hamburgers everyday, but I've managed to stay away from it. I try to only eat pizza or something greasy maybe once every 3 days.

I'm trying to get to the gym as much as possible, but I'm finding that its hard to get there with time restraints. Maybe it'll be more of a summer thing when I have more time.

I wuld say I'm just the *slightest bit* overweight. But I have reasons! ...Well, no, not really, but whatever. I eat "okay", at home, I eat pretty healthy, but since I spend most of my time at that cruddy school, I'm kinda loading up on junkfood lately, which I know I probably shouldn't be doing.

I work out at the local gym, but it doesn't seem to be doing a fair bit on my body, because no matter what I do, I actually gain weight from it. Even if I've been doing this aerobics-pilates mix that the Teacher-type person is teaching us to do. Which would be fine, if I didn't weigh 200+. But I do. I can't run, because I'd just had surgery on my knee, and my Physio won't let me run just yet, but I do take at least 30 to 45-minute walks around the neighborhood whenever I possibly can, and that seems to be the only thing going so well.

A lot people gain weight when they work out. Exercise builds muscle mass and muscle weights more than fat. So if you only are a tiny bit over weight and you start working out you will gain a little weight because the muscle you gained will weight more than the fat you lost.

yeah if you want to lose weight, like the number, you need to run or jog or walk or whatever.

what i plan on doing is walking, jogging, running until i lose some mass, then tone up the mass that's left.

Yeah stay away from the weights until you've lost the amount you want to lose and then lift weights to tone. That's what happens to me, I'll do both aerobic and weight training, I gain weight even though it's muscle, get discouraged, and then stop.

I had the hives and I gained weight, weird eh? Since they went away I've been losing it. I need to eat more healthy. I need to start walking and running but it's too damn cold! Fast food and Coke are my downfall.

i try to be healthy and i'm a pretty picky eater (ask anybody who knows me)
i really don't eat a lot of meat, just chicken and very rarely red meat
i am a cheese addict but pretty sure that cheese is what causes me to have gastrointestinal problems, so no more cheese for me
i'm also in love with french fries, but i don't eat them a lot because i am poor

Rob thinks i eat a lot :( but i am a grazer, i will snack on stuff throughout the day. but usually it is healthy stuff, like cereal or pretzels.

I don't exercise...i used to dance twice a week so i have nice muscles in my legs but other than that i am wimpy. I walk all over campus so i bet i walk like 2-3 miles a day on a busy day, so i guess that is exercise

weight fluctuates by 3 pounds up or down throughout the day... Depending on what activities you do it can change by up to 10 pounds

I gain weight when I'm depressed. I'm fairly sure this is the reason for almost constant weight gain since 8th grade

No fair!

My weight has always been pretty much the same.

I would say I'm healthy ... despite the fact that I am overweight. It's not major, but I need to lose about that annoying ten pounds that no one else my age seems to have :freak: . I do eat about 8 servings of fruits and veggies, but I'm really picky with everything. I can only eat certain foods. I don't eat pasta EVER, and I don't like all those hamburger chains either, with the exception of Wendy's. I don't consume carrots or bananas, or very much meat (only chicken).

I go to the gym now, but I have only recently started. I plan on getting there more as soon as exams are over.

I am in love with water. I drink it all the time, and I can see the differences it has brought about.

i'm not healthy at all. my friends even talked to my parents about my pepsi intake, fearing that my digestive tracts would DIE.

and i guess i only exercise when i really feel like it.

that said, my metabolism is pretty good, and for some crazy reason, i'm not ridiculously fat.

I have a horrible diet....what can I say I love my junk food....but I a crazy amount of dance, volleyball, socceexercise fromr and I do weights and treadmill at home....so in the end all the calories from the junk food are burnt off anyways.

I am thin and athletic. I'm 23, 5'8, 145 pounds.

I use to eat a lot of junk food because my metabolism is very high and weight gain has never been a problem. BUt in 2002 I started getting some abdominal pain that went around my back........it was extremely painful and eventually went away undiagnosed.

A year later I found out that I may have IBS.........Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Its not as bad as it sounds...........just that when I eat fatty foods my stomach gets a dull ache...........and I get nauseated.

I thought I would never have problems because I am thin.....and I work out quite a bit now.........but, every now and then it comes up and makes me miserable because you always feel cramping and want to lie down. Except it doesn't make it better..........you just have to survive two weeks with it.

I guess I'm about average. I don't eat meat but I don't really think that affects my health too much, except that I also have IBS and it seems to have really helped that. Meat is just too much for my system to digest.
Actually, I eat pretty healthy foods, but then I always have some huge sweet like thing. Like for lunch today I had a sandwich with just cheese, cucumbers, bean sprouts and lettuce, and orange juice to drink. But when I finished it I ate a huge brownie with ice cream on it.
I get a bit of excercise though, because I'm always walking all over campus and I try to go to the gym a couple of times a week at least.
