On that note, I actually do catch myself saying "Eh" quite often.

I don't think any of you would ever understand what I say sometimes. We talk fast and incoherently.

and its the mainlanders that say eh damnit. and aboot. Its a toronto accent thing.

I say eh quite a bit.. sounds a lot better than 'huh'. I don't say aboot.. That just sounds stupid..

and yeah, Canada rules.

also i don't know anyone who uses "eh" frequently, and when they do it's not like american's show it on tv.

Oh yes, and quebec is the devil. And I must go there. With two teachers, who are also the devil. This is why quebec is the devil :freak:

Speaking of stereotypes. I just watched Canadian Bacon, a Michael Moore movie with John Candy. They used just about every stereotype there is about Canadians and Americans.

Man, I love that movie. *smiles while remembering the cops at the bridge telling people to jump...*

But people around here usually say 'Eh' at the end of their sentences, although not a lot say 'Aboot' or anything. But the thing is, a lot of the people who use these "phrases" are actually immigrants who'd just come here just a short while before. :freak:
