And would it matter that I don't have a science or math 12, but I do have french immersion?
If you want to do something in the sciences (as opposed to the arts) you'll need science and math in grade 12. If you're going into the arts, chances are you won't need science or math.
I know if you want to do a BA in psych you need a stats course in grade 12 at most schools...
I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.

Don't worry.
It really shouldn't be called a "math" course. Hell, I did my final project on Video Games! Just plugged some numbers into a computer program we were taught to use (Fathom), and yay, I've got some purty graphs!
Then, for my presentation coming up on Monday, I made a simple Power Point presentation with my favourite games' desktop wallpapers as backgrounds (Half-Life made two appearances!).

I'm trying not to worry, but you know how it is. It's math. MATH.

Ok then, Robbo. I'll trust you. But if it's hard ... *shakes fist*

So is no-one applying to UBC? It's got the second best physics department in the country, a really good engineering program, med school (for those bio people), and apparently a good law program. The dorms are pretty good (people complain about the caf food, but it's not really that bad and one of the cafs was just redone). It's beautiful here and it's not in the east
.
Also, could someone explain this list/rank thing of universities? Is it an Ontario-specific thing? When I applied to universities I just went to their respective websites and filled out their online application forms.

It's just an Ontario thing.
You can apply to 3 schools for like 50$ or something I can't remember and then each additional school is 20. It actually makes things easier.

ya my gf is at Ryerson. Excellent school. Probably the best way to get into media is to go to Ryerson.

i don't get it.
why don't you just lie and rank that school you're applying to as the top choice? or do they like, find out and arrest you or something. i'm still not totally understanding the ranking thing.
i'm excited, my friend who is my academic equal, except i have more e.c. activities than her, got into U of M Ann Arbor, so i'm pretty sure had I applied I would have gotten in too. Other than that, there's no school in Michigan I wouldn't get accepted to.
