i havnt celebrated new years since for about 4 years, what exactly are we celebrating again?

i'm not celebrating anything .. simply looking for an excuse to drink and have fun since it's been awhile since I've actually hung out with people and had a good time .. New Years actually means nothing to me ..

ouch .. $35 .. i doubt that includes drinks either ..
i'm poor .. but we get paid on new years eve ... hmm still too expensive

Even though I was in California, I celebrated a Michigan new year at 9 p.m. with the marching band since we had to get up at like 4 a.m. for the Rose Parade.
