i had my opportunity to see him for free and passed it up

i may be the only person who didnt enjoy his performance the first time i saw him.

anyone dislike sam roberts besides me?

You must have seen him on a bad day. He was really great when I saw him he made me all happy and jumping aroundy even though I'd only had about an hour's sleep!

they also mentionned that the band went to the Hip's studio recently to work on some new material, can't wait to see them play, next week in Pembroke!

You know the old saying be careful what you wish for. Well my wish came true. Every Year, Central park has a big concert for Canada Day celebrations. They usually get some lesser known Canadian artist to play. I told my friend it would be really cool if they could get someone like Sam Roberts this year. I just saw he is playing Central Park on June 27th.

Wishes do come true. That has to be the Canada Day show. I can't wait .

Now if only we can get someone like Matt Good, The Tea Party or Daivd Usher :)

I thought I would revive this thread because I saw Sam and his band live last night and they were awesome. Has anyone seen "mind flood" from the new cd live yet? It's fucking amazing. Oh, and what do you guys think of the Chemical City CD? I think it's really good and I think it flows more and fits together more as an album than We Were Born in a Flame did.
