The only 2 that are coming to mind right now:

Blink 182 // Blink 182
Something Corporate // North

and the Used, but I believe that came out in 2002 actually, but yeah, it's goodness stretched through all of 2003 too.

Without a doubt...

#1 is Matt Good's Avalanche. Hands down...

A distant 2nd is probably Sam Roberts' We were Born in a Flame
Dashboard Confessional also made a good album.
I'm still debating on if I'd throw the new Strokes album in there. It's getting better and better with each listen...

Hmm, 2003 was a weak year for me. Maybe it's because I'm culturing myself in older music, maybe it's because music just sucks recently. Who knows? Well, here's my list.

NoFX - The War on Errorism
Murder By Death - Who Will Survive, and What Will Become of Them?
Alkaline Trio - Good Mourning
The Postal Service - Give Up
The Bouncing Souls - Anchors Aweigh
Sigur Ros - Untitled (I think this came out in 2003)

If Koufax's "Social Life" came out in 2003, it would be my #1 by far.

Matthew Good - Avalanche
OLP - Live
David Usher - Hallucinations
Siobhan Donaghy - Revolution in Me

Um... I honestly can't think of any other 2003 albums worth mentioning :uh:

It's all a matter of personal opinion......there is roughly only a handful of cd's that outsold 50 Cent this year.

And basically none of them have been shown thus far on the thread...

Thank you...

1. Muse - Absolution
2. Feeder - Comfort In Sound
3. The Thrills - So Much For The City
4. Hell is for Heroes - The Neon Handshake

5. one of these:
Cave In - Antenna
AFI - Sing The Sorrow
The Thermals - More Parts Per Million
Our Lady Peace - Live
Something Corporate - North
Silkstone - For A Reason
Lukewarm - Unfold

1. The Mars Volta - De-Loused In The Comatorium... quite possibly the greatest thing i've ever heard

2. Linkin Park - Meteora

3. Matt Good - Avalanche

4. A Perfect Circle - The Thirteenth Step

5. Finger Eleven

I found OLP Live to be nothing i hadnt already heard over... and over... and over... but on the other hand i love the songs so that record is a close sixth.
