It would be interesting to see a psychological analysis of Jackson... I mean we can all say he's wacko Jacko, but it would be interesting to see a study on him.

In response to alan's question: in my opinion michael jackson is gonna be considered a sex offender his entire life anyway .. i'd rather go through a trial and be found not guilty because that would at least convince some people of your innocence ... just paying someone off to avoid a trial to me just screams "guilty" .. i mean the first thing i think of when i hear michael's name is about his molestation accusations .. his name has already been dragged through mud, his reputation is already blown .. time to suck it up and be proved not guilty and end the accusations for good .. unless he has something to hide of course. I mean 40 squad cars, the sherriff etc etc don't come roaring up to your mansion for no reason ..

If you go through trial, you're not going to be found innocent. Look at OJ Simspon. He wasn't found guilty, was he? But when you hear his name, do you think he's a murderer?

How about that author that was being attacked by his neighbor, then killed the neighbor. Then the author proceeds in cutting the body up piece by piece to dispose of the man quietly. He was found innocent, but do you think he's a murderer?

It's not that easy.

I agree with alan, being associated with a trial like this is gonna be with jackson his whole life.

His life has already become a joke for the general public. This trial might only confirm what many people think. I doubt he'd be able to get a fair jury either, since it would be such a high profile case, and there isn't a man alive that hasn't heard about him or his past.

One of my best friends is almost obsessed with Michael Jackson, so I know more stuff about him than most, and personally I think a few of the people who posted stuff in this thread are judging too quickly with biased opinions based on all the bullshit that's been made up about him. I'm not saying that everything bad ever said about him is untrue, but he has some good things going for him too... like all the things he's done for charity and how he wants to "heal the world" and all that... Anyway, I don't really have much of an opinion on whether he did it or not. As someone said earlier, Innocent until proven guilty.

Why would parents let their children hang around with michael jackson and spend the night at his house anyways!?! thats like putting gasoline on your children and sending them in to a fire.

Some people must feel he's a genuine human being. I mean it's an extreme case but really only he knows if he's a sicko, or just the epitomy of kindness.

It's really hard to say. Cause part of me thinks he really is just a very genuine, and caring human being, while another part makes me wonder if he's taken it too far. It seems like there's a lot of honesty in someone going on national television and admit they sleep with children. Who would admit that if they were actually abusing the child? I dunno. It's just very bizarre and you never know.

In the back of my mind, I could say that I agree with you here Jim. I mean - I guess I should look at it from "Whacko"'s perspective. Mr. Jackson (we all now know for SURE) beat the hell outta Micheal. Michael obviously didn't get a childhood, and Michael has always said he feels so close to kids because he didn't have that closeness when he was young.

I feel just a TINY bit bad because if Michael would have freakin sought help back after the whole 1993 incident, perhaps he wouldn't be surrendering in handcuffs today.

Part of me, also thought that since Michael claims he's "new" and all this, and with his greatest hits CD being released today, that he would have at least stood by his attorney when the dude spit out that like 3 sentences, but that didn't happen.

Michael shouldn't run from this if he again claims it's all false. He's going to wind up paying this family around 20 million bucks just like the other.

There's something definitely wrong with the man, but I'm not convinced that he's a danger to anyone except maybe himself. He obviously has mental problems, but I think in his own special way he's trying to relive a lost childhood in a way that seems like something much worse to the outside world... i don't know, i don't get the feeling that he actually hurt any kids... I think he just has a lot of trouble understanding social standards. He doesn't see why people are thinking these bad things about him. In any case, a very child-like mentality.

If he didn't want accusations like this brought up, it would have been a good idea not to admit on live tv that he "sleeps in the same bed with the children" because that's just wrong in my opinion. Now they're saying he gave this little boy wine and sleeping pills and then got into bed with him .. damn, I don't know what's true and what's not true .. but the guy has major problems and should not be admitting that he sleeps in bed with these children .. a grown man sleeping in a bed with other peoples children? Seriously now michael, use your head.

I'm still not over him dangling his newborn son off a balcony and then almost dropping him ...

Yeah. He has a few loose screws.

He turned himself in today.

Yep cnn at work was covering it all day :uh:

They think he planned the whole turning himself in bit .. unmarked car, no tinted windows, handcuffs .. and as he was walking in the building he held up the handcuffs for the cameras to see so they think he's playing the "i'm so innocent" victim ..

If he gets locked up, he will end up being raped and killed. Child rapists are the lowest of the low, even in prisons. There is actually like a hierarchy in prisons. The ones locked away for raping or killing children are on the very bottom. Plus, the fact that he's Michael Jackson won't help him much.

Besides, he's famous. They won't lock him up. It would cause too many people to protest it.

In the words of GC:

"Did you know if you were famous
You could kill you're wife
And there's no such thing as 25 to life
As long as you've got the cash to pay for Cochrane"

Rich people don't go to jail :uh:
