Wow - I can't believe it only took them 28 days to shoot the film. That's gotta be some sort of record or close to a record. :)

And a friend of mine has to do a twenty minute presentation on DD for his English class in a few weeks, heh.

I was just flipping through the channels, and heard Gary Jules' version of Mad World on some show (Without A Trace). It was different though. It had some synthed drums in the background. It sounded really crappy. But it was still cool to see it on TV.

I figured out how to play the piano on guitar. It's simple but beautiful.

Whoa. I just watched the movie with the commentary by Richard Kelly/Jake Gyllenhaal.. Absolutely everything in that movie makes sense, it's crazy. Anyways:

areusad831 wrote:anyone have any theories on what the fat guy in orange represents when Donnie first tries to kiss Gretchen?

They mentioned that in the commentary. Apparently he was one of the FAA guys in the beginning in the morning after the jet engine crashed. His job was to follow Donnie around and keep an eye on him. You see him again before the party and also without the orange suit at the beginning and end. Quite interesting.
