my friend fell out of my teehouse at my house and broke his arm.
then after the cast came off I sprained the same arm with a baseball bat
then a couple years later i invited him sledding and he smoked his head off a metal fence post, chipped his tooth and got a concussion.
i think he might have had 1 more injury related to me... but i cant think of it

Don't say you're durable, you'll end up w/ a broken bone tomorrow. I remember the day before I broke my ankle, we were talking about that and the next day CRACK CRACK.

My Grandpa lost his baby finger. I always ask him, but he always gives me some story I don't believe.

i haven't had too many injuries...

the worst i can think of are as follows:

-"no more monkeys jumpin on the bed", follow that statement... when i was around 3 or 4 (too young to remember) i was jumpin on my bed and fell off and hit my head right at my eyebrow on the bed frame... had to get stitches, not fun...

-i got hit by a car when i was in grade 5, it was like the second last day of school... i was riding my bike home, and around the corner came some old grandma bitch and she smashed right into me... nice big scar on my left leg now cuz of her...

-and lastly, the most painful one... when i was in grade 6 me and my friend went to the park to hit some golf balls... i hit one over the fence into someone's house, so i hopped over the fence, grabbed the ball, and tossed it over. Now it was time for me to hop over the fence again. Well, it was about 45 degrees, windy, and rainy... when i was jumpin over the fence, i got to the top and was about to jump off- i slipped and the fence was one of those fences where the wire isn't folded down, so there is about 2 inches of fence standing straight up on the top of the fence... anyways, i slipped and got my hand caught in the wire... i was literally hanging by my hand which was bleeding everywhere- the fence was dug so far into me that i could feel it touching my bone... anyways, i had to wait for about 15 mins because my friend had to go get help to get me down so i was sitting there crying and bleeding my ass off waiting for somebody to help me  anyways, i had to get stitches in my hand which worked out quite well, because i couldn't do schoolwork for the next 2 weeks... :P i hope that story made sense to you all :freak:

where to start...

hit by a car when I was 7... result - 5 stitches on my cheek

body checked into boards while taking a slap shot (therefore no weight to defend myself with... result - broken collarbone and dislocated shoulder (had to put the shoulder back in with a broke collar bone)

skating full speed on a breakaway I get tripped from behind. Rather then trying to protect myself I try to score. I go shoulder first into boards... result - broken collarbone (same collarbone as 1st)

I've had other little injuries (like sprains and such) which in my opinion aren't mentioning before these ones and in between....

Skated from my end at full speed down the ice with the puck. Went to make a move around the defensemen and I lost my edge, forcing all my weight onto the back of my hand... result - broken wrist

Was told I could start skating again, first full practice back I try and make an easy pass...sudden pain in my wrist. Thinking it was just my ligaments I continue my normal business for 3 weeks, including playing badminton, dodgeball and practices for hockey. I realize it's not getting better so I go to a surgeon. result - plate and pins in my wrist. They set my wrist with some scar tissue stuck between the bones so my bones popped apart. Therefore I was walking around with a broken wrist for 3 weeks and didn't know it.
I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.

Jonathon -
1 word -- damn.

((adding to my list of injuries, I forgot to say that in 2nd grade, I had a pencil jammed in the middle of my right hand, and i still have the scar there. and it's not really an injury, but today, i just realized i have 3 tiny little pinpricks on my palm, near my thumb, and my dad suggested that they're bitemarks, but I can't think of anything so tiny that would leave 3 bitemarks on my hand, in the shape of a triangle. the total area between each pinprick (in the triangle) would cover about 2 millimeters. it's just weird.))

...and this is me hanging on / i'd burn our initials in the sun if it would shine / anxiety chokes me like razor wire / if hate's in your heart man, you'll take what you're given / wake up / i'm not the only one / it's never goodbye / go ahead and play dead / if everyone's a casualty, then take your time, there ain't no trouble / these wounds they will not heal / ambition can be a tricky thing / what the hell do i know about rape anyway? / this is not what i hoped for / ain't it so weird how it makes you a weapon / who will be there to tell me how stupid i am? / those living for death will die by their own hand / and it's me that I am spying on / pick up the pieces and live with the stars / hurry up and wait / things have never been so swell / they're always the ones who slowly drift / be great / ...and this is my world.

Me too! When I was 5 or 6, my house was being renovated there was a huge mess around the house. I was running through my yard and the nail went through my shoe and sock and halfway through my foot. Rather painful.

And I split my head open in grade 7 by spinning around and getting so dizzy I ran into the corner of a wall. Other than that, nothing too major.

Ive fallen off my horse uncountable times, but luckily I've never been hurt or even had a bad fall really. Some of the horror stories of my friends though would make someone never want to appraoch a horse again.

My friend Erin fell off her mare about 3 years ago. She was going toward a jump that she had never done before and was bigger than anything her horse had ever done, but the dumbass instructer made her do it anyway. Her horse tripped over the jump, she went over the head and under its legs. The horse stepped on her neck, inches away from her throat. If it had stepped an inch over she would of died. Her neck was huge and blue and swollen for weeks. Needless to say, she never had a lesson with that instructer again... :uh:

My other friend had a horse that was dangerous and unpredicatable, but she really isnt afraid of anything, so she rode him anyway. The horse was so crazy she wore a cross-country vest in the show ring to protect herself. Once she was tacking up, so she tied her horse up to the post, and something freaked out her horse, so it spooked. To make a long story short, she was squished against the post and had to have many an organ removed :freak:

I think I've been pretty lucky with injuries

The only major one was in grade seven - major muscle cramps in my back to a point where I couldn't walk for a week

Other that that I've had 3 stitches in my head from soccer when I was 12, 2 stitched in my hand in grade 10 (I cut it on my gym locker somehow), and finally a hairline fracture in my hand (which got me out of writing a bio test) in grade 11.

How in the hell did you do that?

My siblings are pretty bad. My brother drilled his knee once, and my little sister jumped while standing in a door way and split her chin open on the door stop. The freaky thing is, it's really not sharp.

You are the epitomy of clumsy, I swear Jonathan.

Did I mention my brother threw a one lb rock at my head when I was about nine? Maybe that explains a few things eh?
