Same back at ya. In a completely heterosexual way, of course. :P

teelow wrote:How about you explain your comments? Your last one just contradicted what you said in the first place.

My First Comment: They don't choose to be loners.

My Second Comment: It's not just choice and DNA, there are other factors. (I said this in a round-about way; with sarcasm)

They don't contradict. I'm a loner because of thousands upon millions of influences in my life. I actually started out being in the popular group in public school, which means it's not genetic. In high school, I became more of a loner. That definately wasn't by choice.

Hmm.
You're right about them not choosing to be loners and nerds. Yet, how they act can change the outcome of this. Different circumstances also effect this, For example: How big a school is, WHERE it is, your physical appearance, etc.

Technically, its not their fault, but in a way it is the way they are that is the problem, and again the world could be working against them in these cases. :(

i know several geeky types that like doing nerdy things. the thing about them is that they come to social functions and are deemed cool. all you really need to do is go to a social function or two and the majority of people will accept you.

All I can say is that it may be 'society's' fault that these people are loners, but that doesn't mean I should have to pay with my computer getting fucked up.

nope as i said they like to consider themselves superior and higher then though, intelligent and such. But really Hackers and their ilk are no better then Petty Vandals that go around breaking windows for the sake of causing trouble. For some reason they don't relize how pathetic and petty they are.

But of course this doesn't apply to Nerds and Geeks, only the Hackers and such. Nerds and Geeks are mostly the ones that fix your fucked up computer. I feel kinda bad for some of the loner types at my school....well at least the ones that can't help it

sheik also sheikh
n.
1. Islam.
- A religious official.
- A leader of an Arab family or village.
- Used as a form of address for such an official or leader.
2. Slang.
- A romantically alluring man.

He meant number 2. That's the word they use on those shows.

Oops - I should've quoted Clumsyboy's earlier quote. I meant that you could also say "From Geek to Chic". :)
