do not, i repeat DO NOT buy the new saves the day. its fucking HORRIBLE.
HORRID. if you're going to buy a saves the day cd, buy Through Being Cool.. its the only solid cd they have.
buy thursday and a perfect circle for sure.
and btw, this new album is more political than full collapse is.

actually geoff said the entire cd is about relationships and it was hard from him to write about relationships rather then what he wrote about on full collapse.

The new Saves The Day was crap, but couldn't we all have predicted that one?
I also got the new Thursday, it was good

Get that one... and I'm excited about The Early November...
and didn't The Weakerthans just sign to Epitaph??

i think bands should see what their acronym is before they pick a name...STD...JEW..blah blah

I think those bands make their names from their acronyms. You think Jimmy Eat World was a logical name for a band, or something to fit the acronym?

good point.. i never really thought of them doing it on purpose, but i wouldnt doubt it.
STD is just messed up though
natalie are you going to Sewing With Nancie tomorrow??

No, saves the day got their name from some song that goes "i want to be the hero, the one to save the day again." The artist escapes me right now. But anyway, one of the original memebers of the band liked some girl in high school, and he would always sing that song. She wrote him a note quoting it once except she screwed up and wrote "saves the day" and that's where they got their name. Don't ask me why I remember this.

Geno A. Marcus community centre. its a local show place, maybe 20 to 30 minutes from the border. On Drulliard off of Techumseh, if that helps at all.
Tickets are something like 6$ Canadian at the door. show starts around seven with a bunch of local bands.
if you wanna come out and need better directions i can give them to you... i'll be here for half an hour.

I'm excited too, cause Thrice is also awesome and I've only seen them at Warped Tour. they are going to be good too....especially if they play the best song ever, Phoenix Ignition.
